This hotel exceeded our expectations. It looks fantastic, the food is unbelievably good, the spa is wonderful and the staff did everything to make us feel welcomed. It is only 15 min drive from ski slopes that we enjoyed every day.

Surrounded by the High Tatras National Park and set in Tatranská Lomnica Ski Area, Penzión Jesenský offers accommodation with a garden, a terrace, a bike rental and a games room with billiards. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Everything was new and clean. We had a nice looking room with ceiling windows at the new building. There was no teapot in the room, but you can always get some boiling water in the kitchen downstairs. There are also tables there, so we could eat and drink tea in the evening. They have billiards table and boarding games so people hang out there sometimes. The rooms were quiet and we had a good sleep there. Breakfast was simple, but tasty and there were always some options to eat, even for vegetarians (but for meat lovers options were better:). Usually they serve eggs (boiled or scrambled), sometimes sausages, spreads, bread, cheese and ham, butter, jams, corn flakes and milk, fresh vegetables and fruits. Coffee, tea and juice (artificial) to drink.

Borovica Wellness Hotel’s restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, such as traditionally Slovak specialities and international cuisine. Located in the lobby, the bar serves a wide range of cocktails. Guests can enjoy a great selection of wines from the hotel’s wine cellar or unwind at the bar, which also features a dance floor. The hotel is clean and smells nice. The staff is polite and kind. The gentleman with the magnificent mustache was extra helpful with our food intolerance, so thank you again!

Guests can relax in the relaxation zone featuring a tropical shower and comfortable loungers. Just 300 metres from the Jakubova lúka Ski Centre, this apartment house can be found 1 km from the centre of Starý Smokovec. It offers a self-catered accommodation with free WiFi in public areas and rooms. Very spacious apartment, clean and in a good location

Horsky Hotel Sliezsky Dom is located in the heart of Tatra Mountains, 1670 metres above the sea level. It offers elegant rooms with mountain views, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. Limited WiFi is available for free and a high-speed internet connection is provided for a surcharge. A magical stay surrounded by mountains, forests, a lake and a stream. We enjoyed the view from the window and the spa in every weather. At least 4 different nature trails start from the hotel door and they're all nice. Instead of googling "Tatras best hikes", just start walking in any direction from Velické Pleso and you won't regret it. Generous buffet at breakfast and dinner and delicious food and drinks for lunch. If you read negative reviews about the "tourist restaurant", note that that's the backpackers hut. The hotel restaurant is only available to hotel guests and the lunch options are delicious. We were told you can also ask for packed lunch for the hike, but it wasn't possible because we hadn't ordered it in advance. A free-of-charge spacious private spa by reservation with saunas and a beautiful view. You can send your luggage from their lower parking lot at the Tatranská Polianka railway station by their van and hike to the hotel. You can even leave it in a storage unit for them to pick up, you just need to coordinate in advance.

Hotel Patria in Strbske Pleso houses a restaurant with Slovakian cuisine, a billiards room and spa area accessible free of charge including a gym, a sauna and an indoor pool. The ski slopes are 200 metres away. Everything! The Breakfast room had so much variety to choose from!! Excellent!!

Located at 1,355 metres above sea level, Strbske Pleso offers various possibilities to go skiing and trekking. Free parking is available on site. Amazing hotel, very clean. Walking distance from the lake, many attractions around. Food was amazing as well. Definitely coming back !

Enjoy a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere and excellent service at Hotel Hills, which offers stylish rooms and suites with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The staff were friendly and the best part of the stay was the outstanding spa! 10 stars for the spa!! I will definitely visit again.

The apartments come with a satellite TV, a safe and a bathroom with a hairdryer. We liked Everything. The staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices. The location is perfect! Exactly 1 min walk from the train station 😊 The kids enjoyed the indoor and outdoor play areas. Private wellness was great.
