She even had to wait for us till 12:00am for a late checkin , I initially told her we would arrive by 9pm but due to delay in the trip we arrived at midnight, she was very understanding and provided tips about the road and where we can eat since it was very late. She gave us recommendations on where to buy dates from and souvenirs. The house was very clean which I really appreciated, all amenities available and she provided an amenity as Soon as we asked for it.

And the location is perfect, from here you can visit the dessert, the salt flats and many canyons in a rental car, no need for 4x4 car and no need for expensive tours. The roads to most places have now been paved and unpaved roads are in good condition too. Thank you so much to Fatima for taking such good care of us from breakfast and dinners to extra blankets and helping us to get the best haircut!

The accommodation offers beauty services, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. Great guesthouse with nice room, a rooftop and pool. Comfortable outdoor lounge area downstairs and very helpful staff. The guesthouse also offers guided tours and we can highly recommend Said if you like high speed desert adventures! Really the highlight of our stay. It’s a bit far to the city centre if you don’t have a car, about 30min, but if you’re looking for something a bit cheaper in Touzeur we can definitely recommend it!

The house you rent is aboslutely enormous and very isolated. The host was very friendly and forthcoming and even provided us with firewood to start the fireplace. We were not able to use the pools since it was quite cold during that time.

So much so, that after our first night, we booked to stay longer. We were greeted warmly on arrival by the owner, who told us some history of the property and showed us to our suite, which we were kindly upgraded to due to availability. The dates and oranges delivered to the room shortly after our arrival demonstrated their kind hospitality that we experienced during our stay. The property is clean and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed the comfy bed and the bathroom/shower, which we found to be the best we came across in our travels through Tunisia. The room was bright and airy, and the blackout shutters blocked out any street noises and light at night. We also appreciated that the host was available throughout our stay for local recommendations. Would love to return!
