A rooftop lounge with views of the city skyline, on-site modern restaurant and a large indoor lap pool highlight the Loews Chicago Hotel. Located near the Chicago River, the hotel with free WiFi access is 10 minutes’ walk from Navy Pier. They allowed us to check in and access our rooms at 7:30am. That was exceptional and much appreciated after spending the previous day and night in Amtrak from New Orleans. Restaurant was reasonably priced with delicious food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very well-appointed. Nice pool. Good view.
