The Lost Camel was only a minute's walk from the IGA, cafes and souvenir shops in the town centre and only about five minutes walk away from the Desert Sails Hotel where we connected with our tour busses. The room was delightful and the air conditioner was a huge help. There was room on the suitcase rack for two suitcases - not the case in many other places we stayed!Guest review byChristineGroup

Lots of space to put things. Great swimming pool which was never crowded and shaded sun loungers. Also liked that local.kids were allowed a short swim in the pool. . Middle of the resort so handy for eating places, booking trips and pick up for coach into the national park was 3 minutes walk. Swimming pool was a wonderful spot to cool off after long hikes in 30+ temperatures. Location was terrific… right beside the “town square” with access to cafes, a grocery store, souvenir stores and a place to book tours. We had stayed here on our first trip to Australia 12 years ago, and could not make a booking six years ago because of renovations.
