I loved the apartment with the stairs, the balcony and the wonderful view on palm trees and the barqueta beach with its beautiful waves! The pool was just a few steps away so I could switch between pool and beach in just a short time. The staff was extremely welcoming, I would like to thank especially Alan and Manuel for their extraordinary attention and solution focused service during the stay of those 2 weeks. The barqueta beach invites for long walk on the beach and impresses with wild waves and stunning sunsets. Will definitely back next year for another time out and recovery from daily city life! We travel by motorcycle and we could easily find the place. It's just outside the centre of David. It feels remote but you're actually very nearby the main road. We used Uber taxis to go to the supermarkets/restaurants. The hotel is outstanding. We had a room near the pool. Our room was lovely, nicely decorated and the AC was really nice. There is a big fridge in de common lounge, which you could also get some drinks from. Which was really nice after a long, hot, day of riding! Breakfast was very good. Pascal and his wife are really friendly and helpful and we had some nice conversation! Their dogs are so friendly as well and I loved to pet them. The hotel is very quiet and we enjoyed sitting outside and listening and watching all the birds, squirrels, iguanas, lizards etc. Would definitely recommend to stay of you're going to David!

A little oasis in the middle of town with a large pool area, good bar and restaurant and excellent staff. The front desk staff spoke perfect English and were so helpful and nice. All staff were terrific (cleaners, bar etc) Breakfast was probably not what we are used to but adequate. rooms were large and clean, beds comfy.

I highly recommend staying at Bambu Hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The common area was a great place to meet other travelers. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing setting, a few miles outside David on the road to Boquete. The hostel has its own waterfall you can swim in, is on the edge of some of the last remaining ancient rainforest in the area so the gardens are full of birds, butterflies and flowers. Saw a sloth in one of the mango trees. Relaxed atmoshere, 2 pools, guest kitchen, wifi, bar, restaurant, hammocks etc. Peter the owner is very welcoming and know's a lot about the area and things to do, loves hanging out with the guests. Great place to unwind and enjoy the natural environment, Panama at its best. Cheers Peter.

great apartment with beautiful sea view. It was very clean and equipped with everything you need. The host was very nice and was always available. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself and the bed is very comfortable. We recommend this place. It was very relaxing and the kilometer long beach right outside the front door is beautiful for long walks.
