The cafe also had some very tasty food which you can either eat downstairs or order it to your room. Finally, there is a small store next door for any last minute needs. We did the desert safari tour at sunset - organised through Emirates and highly recommend it. We also did the Top of Burj Khalifa at Sunrise, this was a really heartwarming experience. Using the Metro (redline) was very easy and affordable (get multiple day pass). This is one of the best places I stayed in Dubai. The apartment is beautiful, with a comfortable bed, a nice high desk to work from, plenty of room in the cupboards, a great kitchen and bathroom. Host was extremely helpful and communicative, an excellent host. The parking is easy and covered. The pool is beautiful, with very comfortable sun lounges, perfect to relax after a long day at work. Great camp with the BEST staff.
Great camp with the BEST staff. They tend to your needs around the clock. My only drawback is the restroom situation. The toilet and shower is in one very small stall. Had to hang change of clothes in different stall to keep the shower from wetting them. Another drawback is COLD showers. No hot water at all even after letting it run for some time. My husband caught a slight cold because the desert gets cool in the evening, and the walk back to the tent from the cold shower did him in. Also on my booking confirmation , it said there would be a bidet in the tent. There was not one, but I think that is best. Not mad about that at all. On a good note, we really enjoyed the dishes we were served with such great variety. The entertainment was nice. We booked for two nights, but one night is more than enough. Dubai is an excellent place that can meet and surpass the expectations of any person, for any length of stay, and any time of the year. Dubai is already so very well connected with bus, tram, taxi, monorail, metro services and with a variety of hotel / apartment stay options, that it is an excellent location for any type of budget. A visit to the Museum of the Future, is a must for everyone, and it will just leave you baffled on the way UAE is going to look in the very near future.
