- From US$155.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 5,296 reviewsBernardin area is sitting between the medieval town Piran and the "little Monaco" Portoroz, therefore an ideal place to strand discovering the Slovenian Adria. The 4 star hotel is calm, and offering all kind of services required at this level. We had a family room (2 rooms linked with a door) with bathroom/shower on each side. Rooms had large balconies with a beautiful view on the marina and the ruins of the medieval church. Parking was available 200 meters away at the Grand Hotel Bernardin for free. Very good breakfast and dinner in a nice place, having high variety and high quality of food and beverages. Pool area is quiet and family friendly with slides and whirlpool for the kids. It is also possible to go out to the seaside with using your card and have a bath in the sea as well. Despite the October we have tried it and the water was lovely. We will return, for sure.Guest review byÁkosHungary
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,285 reviewsLoved everything about this property! The staff were very attentive and welcoming. Location on headland was magical. Room with balcony overlooking the sea clean, comfortable and modern. It was a 20 min walk around headland to the old town centre but unfortunately we did not try this out. Meals were wonderful. Parking was available for us at the property. Could sit and enjoy a cigarette with drink on the deck over the sea🙏Guest review byChristineAustralia

beautiful and historic old town, full of small cafes and bars where the night vibe might me felt without a doubt! Marjan Hill and Park- you must go for walks there to relax and see amazing views of Split coastline.Guest review byMarcinPoland - 10.0
We enjoyed the Old Town.
We enjoyed the Old Town. The Dubrovnik pass for some of the museums and the local buses made things easier for us. Plenty of restaurants and bars in and around the Old Town. Walking the city wall was a challenge (but enjoyable and great views). But time your visit to the Old Town. It can be incredibly busy in the morning with coach tour groups, groups off the cruise ships plus fans of 'Game of Thrones'. We were warned about lots of steps in Dubrovnik. Be mindful that there are more steps than you can imagine!! Once our three day Dubrovnik pass had expired we caught a local bus for a day at the lovely harbour village of Cavtat. The next day a boat to the UNESCO protected island of Lokrum. Very calm after the crowds of the Old Town. An island of lush growth. The Botanical Gardens especially interesting.Guest review byGreen - 10.0
Zadar was recommended to us by friends.
Zadar was recommended to us by friends. It was a lovely old town with loads of bars and restaurants. Everyone was friendly, we didn't see anything that made us feel unsafe. The promenade walk around the small marina at the Land Gate, to the Sea Organ and onto the larger marina was lovely. We took a boat trip to 3 islands (4 hours) on a speedboat which was really enjoyable. It might be worth checking which days the cruise ships are in port as it made a massive difference to how busy the Old Town was. We hired a car and had trips out to Zaton, Nin and Pag. Pag was amazing, it was like going to the moon next to the sea. We were forecast to have a day of thundery showers (but it never happened!) so we booked a session at the Visnjik sports centre to play Padel and keep dry. An amazing facility for any sporty people, worth a visit.Guest review byAngelaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Budva, like the other cities in Montenegro, is a fantastic place, nice beaches, a very beautiful old town, has a lot of water activities and night life is brimming . It is indeed a destination worthy of travelling for both young and old. Just be ready with lots cash because most of the shops and restaurants there only accepts cash. There are ATMs everywhere but there are charges. Transportation wise, if you are just in Budva, everything is walking distance, going to the beach or the old town, there are just minutes away. But, if you want to visit other places, taking a bus is the most effective way, it's cheaper than taking a taxi where the driver will ask a ridiculous price. Just go to the bus station and buy the tickets there in cash, don't buy them online because once you arrive at the bus station, they will ask you to print it otherwise it's null and void, they have printing servie there but it's gonna be another pay (1 euro per print).Guest review byMurphy JohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.Guest review byLiinaEstonia - 10.0

Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. Very busy old town as cruise liners arrive daily.Guest review byGeraldine - 10.0

Very beautiful place, both the city center and the beaches were great. One of the most beautiful places I've seen with those amazing caves by the sea. Easy public transport, a lot of activities to do (ship cruise, kayaking, wine tasting, sightseeing etc.). The city center offers many many cafes and restaurants in different price ranges (delicious pizza for 9 euro) and many very interesting places to see and visit (e.g. the underground tunnels and the Arena). I highly recommend, we were there for 4 days and I regret I didn't take more holidays to stay there longer. There's a lot too see also on the islands nearby and museums, we didn't have time for that unfortunately.Guest review byZuzannaBelgium - 10.0

Everything about this place is breathtaking.
Everything about this place is breathtaking. Except for one thing: the sheer number of tourists. That's why it's worth sleeping there to enjoy the place late at night and especially in the morning. In the middle of the day, many, many tourists arrive, and it's really difficult then.Guest review byBartoszPoland
