We travelled beginning of October, one day stay over at the start before a boat trip and then again for one day after a week. Weather was cool-ish at night. Many restaurants and shops within the old town, no need to venture far away. Food and wine prices were higher than expected, exceeding that of most cities in Italy, which is the last European country we have visited in the past year. Clothing was not expensive, though. We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. The town was perfect size so walking is easy for everyone. Please note the cobbled streets can be a little slippery so fancy high heeled shoes are a No-No! The local people are kind and friendly and everyone is catered for.
