The hotel and it's facilities are super new, and we could really tell that the staff was making a strong effort to make sure guests enjoyed their experience at the hotel. Location-wise, the hotel is located in the shade of several buildings built behind us, so we weren't put at full blast of the sun's rays. The rooftop swimming pool directly faced the sea, giving us a lovely view of the sunset. Additionally, the aircon of the rooms was very strong, which was a godsend to beat the hot Sarande heat. The hotel's breakfast buffet was well varied in options and super filling Shoutout to the hotel manager Odis who has been super attentive and supportive to our needs. He goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel comfortable and welcomed!

The best hotel in Ksamil! 🙌 Excellent Service from the owner and staff from reception, kitchen, restaurant and Housekeeping they are all nice and friendly they will provide all what you needed with personal touch and service. The owner himself always ask if everything is fine and if we needed something. As we celebrate our anniversary they gave us wine and personal note they have exceptional service like a 5 star hotel.Its sad that we dont want to go home after we checkin in Sondor. The people are so accomodating. They have Modern Facilities. A newly opened hotel that has a big room with nice terrace and modern pool. The breakfast is also awesome and always fresh and wide variety of foods! the location is not far from beach and center. i wil really recommend Sondor Hotel for all visiting Ksamil and we find our second home in Ksamil when we go back next time. Surely will come back to Sondor Hotel! 🫶 More Power!

    Everything was perfect! The staff and service were absolutely top-class – they helped us with everything, and we felt truly welcome. The room was luxurious and beautifully decorated, the bed was incredibly comfortable, as were the pillows and blankets. The shower and bathroom were stunning and felt high-quality. We even had two balconies, which was amazing – with beautiful views of the sea and the main street. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the whole room was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was heavenly delicious, with so many tasty options – truly one of the highlights of our trip! We also had free parking in the hotel’s covered parking area, which was a huge plus. The location was excellent – restaurants all around, the beach within walking distance, and shops right next door. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone! ❤️

    I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Splendor. The staff were incredibly kind, always welcoming with a smile and ready to help with anything I needed, which made me feel right at home. The hotel’s location near the beach was perfect just a short walk to the crystal clear waters and peaceful beach bar. And whenever I didn’t feel like walking back and forth, the hotel had a baggy with friendly staff ready to drive us. Everything felt calm and well taken care of.

    We did a couple of tours.

    We did a couple of tours. One was a minivan tour showing us the blue eye and Gyrokaster which was brilliant then we took a boat tour down the coast which was definitely not our sort of trip, banging music was spoiling the peace and tranquility, the beach we were dropped at for 3 hours was covered in rubbish. Taxis are expensive but we used a local bus to go to Butrint and Ksamil which was easy and well worth doing. Sarande itself was very touristy even for September plenty of bars and restaurants at a reasonable price.

    Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). On average, €1 was equivalent to about 95–96 lek.

    Plazhi Bovës and the surrounding forest is awesome. Sad it's full of trash. The peninsula with the monastery and the abandoned bunkers were amazing. The main streets with the shops, restaurants, bars are full of life. The palms along the road gives very good vibes.

    Durres is a city of contrast from the Roman ampitheater to the beach, pool and shopping. Tasting the fresh fish from one of the seafront restaurants is a must but make sure you also fill up on byrek and sufflaqe! Pelikan has lots of amazing cakes for sweet treats, Tropikal resort has an amazing pool you can use for the day (1000leke) and the market is a hidden gem for bargains. The bus from the beach at Plepa along to the city Center gets VERY busy but for 40leke saves the stress of driving and trying to park and everywhere is then just a short walk. We love Durres and will be back.

    Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

    Drymades beach town is only worth visiting for the beach - which is amazing. Smallpeeble beach with clear clean water. Noting to see og do in the besch area. Only restaurants, minimarkets and beachbars. No shops or small streets. The restaurants are in general overpriced compared to other areas in Albania and the food and service does not follow the high prices. Go here for the beach for max 3 days

    After almost 2,000 km traveled by car in nearly 30 hours due to countless traffic jams, we managed to arrive home without other problems, but of course extremely tired—yet with beautiful memories, to which you also contributed with your kindness and the valuable advice you gave us. We learned, with your help, that Albania is a beautiful country, still in a period of reconstruction, full of wonderful and hardworking people, always ready to help you with everything they can. But perhaps the most important thing is that they have not forgotten that Romanians and Albanians have been, and still are, brothers. We are connected by both past and present. The first thing that surprised us about our host was the outstanding cleanliness we found inside the apartment. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with absolutely everything necessary, air conditioning in every room as well as in the kitchen, clean bed sheets, immaculate white towels, etc. It has happened to me to stay in luxury hotels and not find this level of perfection. About the hosts, we have only words of praise. Even before our arrival, they checked if we were all right, if anything had happened, and during our entire stay they were always there for us—at any hour—through WhatsApp and even through Mr. Nardi himself coming to the apartment in person, even though they live quite a distance away. We were pleasantly surprised that we even had free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. At our departure, they even offered to help us if we needed anything. Sincere congratulations to these people who once again showed us that Albanians are people with big hearts, always ready to help you as long as you respect them and come with good intentions to their country.

    The owners seemed to make the effort to provide with help and assistance, despite the lack of quality in the aspects below. For the price you pay in high season which was 45 EUR per night, of course you don't expect luxury, but some basics should be in place: - 1st of all, the photos used in Booking.com were all from the 2nd building they manage, and don't correspond with the room booked at least on 50%. - the power plugs were a hazard to be aware(when you're travelling with a toddler). - the electric stove provided was almost at half meter height, a constant danger for toddlers. - the air con could be put on only by plugging in the plug and it was configured to the coldest temperature, very annoying to deal with it during the night. - hygiene could've improved: closet was dirty on the top, full of dust, the bathroom super-small. - when I asked for a sponge and dishwashing lotion, the owner told me that I was the 1st ever to ask for that. What? You put a kitchen.

    Qeparo is a charming little village with a lovely "shetitore...

    Qeparo is a charming little village with a lovely "shetitore" (promenade) perfect for evening walks along the beach. The village stretches along the coast, offering breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters, though you'll need to walk a few steps to reach the shore. We had no trouble finding a sunbed without reservations, and the food was delicious and fairly priced—highly recommend restaurants Poseidon and Te Stefi! The only downside was the lack of trash bins along the promenade, which left the walking path a bit messy. This is definitely an area that could be improved. Overall, a peaceful, beautiful spot with great food and friendly vibes.

    The owner was very responsive.

    The owner was very responsive. The apartment had everything from kitchenware to WiFi ,free parking and quiet area. It is very close to Vlora city and Rradhima. The closest beach is 2-minutes driving, or 7-10 minutes waking.
