Staying in Durres for almost a week to catch up with old friends & family! Hotel Kloest was just what I needed to relax and made me feel more than welcome and home. The rooms are spotless and the staff is very friendly as for the breakfast it was absolutely delicious!! Would definitely come back on my next visit to my homeland!!

This is a very nice hotel in a great location in the very center of the city. The staff is nice and they all speak excellent English. Within the hotel, there is a very nicely decorated restaurant. Our room was not too big, but very tastefully decorated. For breakfast, there are a couple of trendy, healthy dishes...I liked it

The hotel is brand new and modern. Communication with the hotel prior our arrival was on point. Check in was super quick and easy, with very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and tidy, the same goes for other hotel facilities. We had an excelent breakfast, full of home made products and very nicelly served. They realy deserve all the compliments.

This hotel gives you a lot of value for your money. It is located at 15 minute walking distance from the beach, boulevard and tourists spot. Tons of coffee places, Bakeries and grocerie shops nearby. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. A large bed and small fridge. WiFi worked super fast ⏩. The shower was very good and everyday the nice cleaning ladies cleaned the room. In the morning breakfast was being prepared, no buffet but freshly and it was one of the better breakfasts I've had in a while. Freshly baked eggs, sausages and cheese. You have the breakfast in the bar under the hotel, wich is a lively place where many locals come for a morning coffee or breakfast. The staff gave me such welcoming feeling, always genuinely friendly and helping me with everything. They really know how to treat their guests and I have no words to express how great they all were.

EVERYTHING!! The beds are really comfortabel, i had my best sleep here! The room is so fine that it could be function as a bridesuite Host Reddy was there to make us feel like we are Princesses in his castle. The room was spotless clean and to take a shower here feels like home. On the spacious rooftop is a restaurant with delicius food. Location in the center, walking distance to the beach and harbour I would reccomend this hotel and i would go again!!

    Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.

    This is perfect for its purpose!

    This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

    Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal.

    Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal. One day is sufficient to see what there is to experience. I stayed an extra day because I had work to do online. Be warned, this is a mountain down so you will be doing a lot of up and downhill walking. Reconsider if you have mobility issues.

    The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.

    We had to drive, but it wasn't a problem for us. We discovered some really nice local bars and restaurants. Duka Wine Estate is definitely recommended, just a 10-minute drive away! Lej & Laj, we'll definitely be back!

    I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam.

    I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam. All of my credit card purchases serviced by Raiffheisen Bank were declined at grocery stores for some reason. Several ATMS did not provide me with cash. I had to take cash out of an ATM that charged me $50 US Dollars to take cash out, because the card servicer wasn't approving the card transactions at the grocery store. I have not had this serious of a problem in any other country. I didn't really explore a lot. I wish there was a store that carried camping/hiking equipment. I think the coastline is nice. The restaurant prices seem to be reasonable. Mostly I stayed in my room at my hostel by myself so I can't really be reliable to rate the entire city.

    If you’re seeking nightlife or a highly developed tourist infrastructure, it’s better to stay closer to the city center or in Ksamil. Albania is not just a tourist destination; it is a living history of resilience.     Lovely and clean place.

    Lovely and clean place. Though quite small, there's plenty to explore - picturesque Bazaar under the castle with loads of lovely souvenirs where everyone is sure to find something to their taste and budget. Pretty restaurants and places of accommodation. Small shops but well stocked with things you might need. Shop owners and people working in restaurants speak decent English and the menus are available in both Albanian and English. The grounds of Krujë Castle don't seem to be large but there's a lot to explore and admire. You can walk among the romantic ruins, relax and enjoy the vista. If you venture out in the countryside, you can walk in olive groves among grazing sheep, goats and cows and if you are lucky, you can meet a local riding a donkey. If you love hiking, there's Krujë mountain. The best thing about Krujë is undoubtedly its location with stunning views - and that was what we loved the most about the place!

    Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.

    I loved our stay here.

    I loved our stay here. The beach is great - clean, not too busy as locals go there and only 1 or 2 hotels on the coast, so not overloaded by tourists like some European destinations. Beautiful beach, warm sea. Just perfect.
