The pool was really nice but closed a bit too early (17:00 or 17:30) Breakfast was rich and abundant with many local pastries. The hotel staff were nice to let us check-in 2h early. An elevator is available, unlike many similarly priced hotels in Ksamil. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach. Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.Guest review byJean PaulMalta - 6.0
The people are amazing.
The people are amazing. They are all friendly and acomodating, and almost everyone speaks great english. The food is delicious! We went to several restaurants and all the food is great. Butrint national park is a must see. Although I highly recommend going there early (before 10 AM) to get a parking spot. Otherwise you will park 1 km-2km away and walk in the sun. The infrastructure is horrible. There are too many hotels and the roads are narrow and there are no or very little sidewalks. It is dangerous to walk around with small children because in august it was filled with cars that were driving too fast on those roads. Driving inside Ksamil and between Ksamil and Saranda is a nightmare.Guest review byOyaNorth Macedonia
