She accompanied us from start to finish and was one of the main reasons why we would love to return to Hotel Mira Mare. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy a private boat tour and explore the Ksamil islands as a family, a highlight of our trip. It is simple but super charming, with a fantastic sea view and literally just a few steps from a lovely sandy beach. We couldn’t ask for a better location. The owner’s family is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. they made us feel right at home, se had a lot of chat from time to time. One of our favorite things was sitting on the shaded balcony for meals, enjoying the view and the peaceful vibe. People walking past would even stop to take photos of the cute bulging surrounded by trees and plants. it really is that beautiful! Our kids were so happy there, and we felt completely relaxed. Center of Ksamil is 10 min walk by the sea. The staff is so pleasant and they really make sure that everything is clean. They clean the room every day and change the towels. Food in hotel is phenomenal. The sea is clean and the staff makes sure the beach is clean of trash and sea grass. The parking is next to hotel so basically you can see your car from the balcony. Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.Guest review byJean PaulMalta - 6.0
The people are amazing.
The people are amazing. They are all friendly and acomodating, and almost everyone speaks great english. The food is delicious! We went to several restaurants and all the food is great. Butrint national park is a must see. Although I highly recommend going there early (before 10 AM) to get a parking spot. Otherwise you will park 1 km-2km away and walk in the sun. The infrastructure is horrible. There are too many hotels and the roads are narrow and there are no or very little sidewalks. It is dangerous to walk around with small children because in august it was filled with cars that were driving too fast on those roads. Driving inside Ksamil and between Ksamil and Saranda is a nightmare.Guest review byOyaNorth Macedonia
