He was incredibly friendly and genuinely cared about our stay. After we made the reservation, he contacted us right away to share useful information about how to reach the hotel. He also gave us great tips about the city, which really added value to our trip. Although the hotel is within walking distance to the city center, Maradona kindly drove us there himself and picked us up at the time we requested. Since some members of my family are older and could have gotten tired walking, this gesture was deeply appreciated. The rooms were very well-maintained with a nostalgic charm, and the breakfast was satisfying. Hotel has great views of river, mountains and town square, so whatever room you have you'll get a great view. Glass elevator was an unexpected bonus which gave more great views of permet. It’s usually a day trip destination, but we decided to stay for 4 nights. The old town was a nice place to walk around. The castle was a must visit. On the other days, we rented a car and drive to Sarande, Ksamil, Permet (thermos bath. We took a bus from Athens (we paid 5€ for the taxi to take us up to our hotel). Permet is a nice small city but with very good and hospitable people with a great history. It is called "the city of roses" because of the multi kinds of roses that grows in the city. The natural views are crazy in my opinion.
The natural views are crazy in my opinion. Crazy mountains and rivers, streams everywhere. The people are very nice, I read about other accounts but we experienced nothing but kindness and politeness. Its off the beaten track which we personally like. Its not all tarted up and cheap touristic vibe like you get in so many European countries, that you dont know what is real anymore. The seaside is also now only about 50 min away - we took a road to Sarande that apparently was just completed, so we also experienced a bit of the mediteranean vibe.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
People are very helpful.
People are very helpful. A lot to discover between history and nature for those who loves walking and climbing. As an animal lover, I have rescued a dog and adopted him. We really enjoyed our time in Përmet.
We really enjoyed our time in Përmet. The town was surprisingly clean compared to bigger tourist cities – no piles of garbage and no unpleasant smells, which made it very pleasant to walk around. It’s also much quieter, which we really appreciated. We ate at Bar Restaurant Lulishte, and I can’t recommend it highly enough – the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Getting around Përmet is quite easy since it’s a small town, and the beautiful landscapes make every walk enjoyable. Amazing town in the mountains with a lot of history worth a few days. The experience as enhanced by our stay at the Hotel SS Kekezi a unique family run hotel full of character and a fantastic breakfast. The owner was so helpful. I liked Permet a lot!
I liked Permet a lot! It is a small town, so you see it in a single day but there is a beautiful river passing through it, and it is surrounded by mountains. There is a range of activities to do around Permet like rafting, hiking, canyoning. I stayed 3 days only but I would have enjoyed staying a bit more to do some hiking.Guest review byMariaBulgaria
