The atmosphere is very luxurious, yet comfortable and welcoming. Everything was spotless – the cleaning staff do an amazing job keeping both the rooms and common areas perfectly clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. From check-in to departure, they were always polite, helpful, and even showed us around the hotel. Service really makes a difference here. The food was another highlight – a wide variety of dishes, always fresh and delicious, with something for every taste. Even though the main restaurant was under renovation during my stay, the hotel had informed me in advance when I booked, which shows great transparency and professionalism. Facilities were excellent: sauna, spa, massage services, and even a quiet relaxation room included. The outdoor pool area was beautiful, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas by the beach, and several bars around the property so you’re never far from a drink or snack. It’s also a fantastic place for families with kids. Every day there were activities, entertainment, and mascots that children really enjoyed. This makes it easy for parents to relax while the little ones are having fun. I also felt very safe during my entire stay – no issues at all. Prices were very reasonable considering the luxury experience offered. Overall, this hotel combines cleanliness, comfort, excellent service, and great facilities at a fair price. It's inexpensive here, the sea is beautiful, but there are no attractions. And the biggest problem is cleanliness. There is a lot of trash on the beach, a lot of open trash cans, in some places it stinks of sewage, and in one place something is leaking from a large pipe right onto the sand on the beach. If you stay at a good hotel, you may not notice any of this. Hidden gem.
Hidden gem. Pellumbas is only 30 min from Tirana bud it is actually beautiful small village with superb views, especially during sunset. Hiking treks are in nearby mountains, one trek leads to huge interesting cave and start directly frim the village center. Local people are very warm and welcoming. i think we should not expect anything from Tirana, just go to the beaches near by and visit restaurants and spend time. we did that in many restaurants in the city. We can not compare Tirana with other European cities. After almost 2,000 km traveled by car in nearly 30 hours due to countless traffic jams, we managed to arrive home without other problems, but of course extremely tired—yet with beautiful memories, to which you also contributed with your kindness and the valuable advice you gave us. We learned, with your help, that Albania is a beautiful country, still in a period of reconstruction, full of wonderful and hardworking people, always ready to help you with everything they can. But perhaps the most important thing is that they have not forgotten that Romanians and Albanians have been, and still are, brothers. We are connected by both past and present. The first thing that surprised us about our host was the outstanding cleanliness we found inside the apartment. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with absolutely everything necessary, air conditioning in every room as well as in the kitchen, clean bed sheets, immaculate white towels, etc. It has happened to me to stay in luxury hotels and not find this level of perfection. About the hosts, we have only words of praise. Even before our arrival, they checked if we were all right, if anything had happened, and during our entire stay they were always there for us—at any hour—through WhatsApp and even through Mr. Nardi himself coming to the apartment in person, even though they live quite a distance away. We were pleasantly surprised that we even had free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. At our departure, they even offered to help us if we needed anything. We arrived in the evening and toured Tirana the following day. That would have been enough but we stayed another day. The city has an amazing number of restaurants and cafes on nice tree lined streets. For some reason, Tirana has no historic town center like most European cities but the area around Skanderbeg Square is interesting. One is constantly reminded of the distressing time when the communists controlled the country and suppressed the entire population. Definitely visit the Bunk'Art 1 Museum (and Bunk'Art 2 if you have time). Also visit the "House of Leaves" museum to get a feeling for the incredible surveillance through which the communists controlled the country.Guest review byGaryGermany - 4.0
Too much garbage on the streets.
Too much garbage on the streets. No big seaside walk (existing one is separated from the sea, cannot see). Lot of constructions, and some buildings are abandoned. 7 euro per person for the beach (formally for umbrella? or per person? or per bed under umbrella? absolutely no info, no sign). This is cheaper than Spain/Italy/Croatia but the sea shore is not cleaned from algae. The sand is not cleaned. I would agree to 3-5 euro, or 15 for the family. Groceries, takeouts and cafeterias are mostly affordable and good. Fresh fruit street vendors are working long hours, I appreciate this. Night life exists, IMO lacks some relaxation, I don't know why. Generally lack of information is really a barrier -- for example prices are often not written, people speak Italian so I decided not to put effort to buy something. There was a feeling that different tourists can get different prices, and that's not fair, Please note Google street views from 2016-2019 are VERY OLD, now in 2025 much of Golem / Robit is seriously rebuilt and Google did not update. They don't have good address system so it is hard to explain what I recommend, but let's try: on Rruga Quemal 2504 (?) there is "Traditional restorant" / "I love albanian food" near SPAR, the food is great.Guest review byPaterFamiliaPoland
