This apartment is located near the tourist area and a lively street with tourists, namely Rruga Kolë Andromeno, where there are many cafes and restaurants as well as places to hang out. They have used smart technology which makes everything easier and simple. - This hotel is in the city centre so the location is perfect ! Everything is in walkable distance . There are plenty of bars and restaurants next to the hotel .Also the hotel is brand NEW and very very beautiful! -The rooms are really beautiful and spacious and they have everything you need . The stay was very pleasant. What we liked the most was the cleanliness and hospitality. Everything was tidy, clean, and the staff was extremely polite. The owners were always there ready for any need or suggestion we had. They made you feel at home. The hotel conditions were very good, the environment quiet and suitable for a peaceful rest. And although breakfast was not included in the price, it was prepared with care and according to our wishes. Truly a place that I would recommend to spend your holidays.

    The hotel Tradita exceeded our expectations. Everything was really meticulously arranged and from the moment you enter the premises you’re welcomed by a lovely perfume and a very kind and professional staff. The room was big, clean and with all the amenities listed in the description and very nicely decorated with traditional materials. We also stayed in for dinner and enjoyed typical and tasty meals, there is even a big fireplace always on to grill the meat and their amazing homemade bread. The breakfast was also very tasty and rich. If you happen to be in the area for the weekend you will also be lucky enough to enjoy the traditional shows they organize in the evening with typical Albanian music.

    Theth is breathtaking!

    Theth is breathtaking! At times I compared it to Switzerland. Other times to Nepal. The mountains are dramatic and the village, although bursting and bustling with tourists and hotels and restaurants - still maintains an authentic feel. The road to Theth is quite an experience with many switchbacks up and down and with traffic coming at you- you need a stomach of iron, but it’s so worth it to arrive on this gem of a valley. The road in the village is not paved so drive slowly. We had a fantastic dinner at villa Gjecaj restaurant- beautiful setting, peaceful and amazing food. Lots of hiking options. Pack your boots.

    This was our favorite spot in Albania.

    This was our favorite spot in Albania. It's secluded and personal and the staff was exceptional. Mark had us laughing the whole time and Sando kept us entertained with Raki and stories of Albania. We sat on the floating dock at night and saw every star in the sky. They took us to the beach for the day and we skipped rocks and swam in the freezing water under the hot sun. There was plenty to do at the beach, including zip lining, a DJ, bars, and more. I'd go back in a heartbeat. I'll never forget the friends we made there!

    It was the first time to be in Velipoje.

    It was the first time to be in Velipoje. It's not a big city but I am positively surprised. The Velipoja beach (where we were placed) was clean, the water was so clear and warm. The kids part with the toys at the center of the city was excellent. The food was good tasted, fresh and the staff was very polite.

    Mountains and hiking but without tourists and crowds like in Theth. Friendly and accommodating locals because most tourists do not stay overnight in Boge. Boge is only a quick stop for coffee then people continue to/from Theth.

    Reviews we read of Shkoder said it's a university town with lots of biking. Not sure what those reviewers were writing about, but there weren't many bike friendly areas and the town was not as vibrant as we expected. We did spend some time in the Shiroka area on the lake a 10 minute or so drive from Shkoder and that was very nice - good restaurants and lake activities. We also went to the mountains and stayed in Theth, which was wonderful and highly recommended.

    Theth is a little town surrounded by beautiful mountains. It has a few good restaurants, several good hiking options, things of historic and cultural interest and good swimming spots. It now has a few shops, an atm and a tourist office. It also has a zip wire which was fun!

    We stayed at the hotel before and after our river tour. It's an excellent place to stay for that purpose and there is an excellent swimming facility on the lake. We didn't checkout additional activities in the area.

    The hotel is close to the beach, which was great. The pool was small but clean, and my son really enjoyed it. Breakfast was OK, and there are small shops nearby, along with parking available. I would have rated this 5 stars if it weren't for one issue: the cooking utensils. If you plan to book an apartment, I recommend bringing your own cooking pans, or you’ll be disappointed.

    Shkoder is a lovely city with great views, food and nice accommodation facilities. It's a safe place for families and youths with lots of activities around. In particular, the main city area near the beautiful Mosque is an absolute must for awesome food and shopping.
