Bariloche is a beautiful place.
Bariloche is a beautiful place. The surrounding areas are magnificent in terms of scenery and atmosphere. There are many activities to do around the town and nearby like skiing, snowboarding, cable cars, chairlifts etc. The town is renowned for its many chocolate shops and vast variety of different chocolates.Guest review byHafeezaSouth Africa - 10.0
We loved this town. It was quaint, friendly, and beautiful.
We loved this town. It was quaint, friendly, and beautiful. There were great restaurants, everything in town was walkable, and there were lots of outdoorsy things to do with kids (rent bikes, rent a kayak, go for a hike, go for a boat ride). I recommend a cafe called Montes, some of the best coffee I have had and the owner is really nice. We definitely will go back to this town.Guest review byVirginiaArgentina - 10.0
A delightful little Swiss-type village up the mountain,...
A delightful little Swiss-type village up the mountain, about an hour's drive from the Bariloche Airport. The beautiful snow-capped mountains, the azure lakes, the meandering trails along the river and streams, and the picturesque village can be considered a "paradise on earth." The locals are so kind, helpful, and just wonderful. They should teach people in other places about true hospitality and customer service! In the shops, restaurants, hotels, and on the streets, the people are beyond wonderful in helping us. Their genuine warmth, kindness, and friendliness are among the reasons we keep returning whenever visiting Argentina!Guest review byRuthUnited States - 10.0

The town itself is fine, with a wealth of chocolate shops and touristy shopping. The reason you have to go there, though, is the stunningly beautiful nature near the town. The landscape with its lakes, islands, and mountains is among the most beautiful I've ever seen.Guest review byJoergGermany - 10.0
Absolutely beautiful place.
Absolutely beautiful place. Wonderful restaurants and full of boutique hotels. The natural landscapes and lakes in this area of the country are breath-taking. I could easily live here =) But settled for a wonderful vacation, full of nature, good food and incredibly kind people. Would definitely recommend 2-3 days here when in Patagonia.Guest review byMaria LauraUnited States - 10.0
The town and Bariloche and the surrounding area are real...
The town and Bariloche and the surrounding area are real worth the trip. The circuit of the 7 lakes, with the amazing vistas at every step, the many waterfalls and hiking trails, the lake beaches, the wildflowers, you could stay in the area for months and not get bored if you love the outdoors. And even if you're not the most avid outdoors person here you can become one. Don't need to think much about where to go, just pick a place, cause you won't be disappointed :) The food is good, the chocolate and ice cream amazing, and people are nice and welcoming. Be careful when driving though, there are many speed restrictions in the town and even outside, and it's easy to get a speeding ticket (fortunately we were warned as soon as we got there). And on the winding roads in the mountains there could be cows or horses walking freely. So be mindful of your surroundings and pay attention to the speed limit.Guest review byJaincityCanada - 10.0
