Hotel istelf! Interior and exterior. Swimming pool on the roof, view from pool as well from room is to valley, absolutely amazing! Staff! Staff, all staff, reception - manager and her assistants, kitchen - breakfast, restaurant personell - all them is on the right place and they are professionals in this. Everything is excellent managed, they all work as one team. They also were able to give useful reccomendations about activities outside and detailed weather forecast - for better choice to choose location for mountains hiking without clouds. Everything was great. Also there is lovely restaurants nearby and access to mountain lifts are in 10 minutes slow walking (summer time).

Seriously you can’t find anything better than this. Modern and new rooms with comfy beds, huge TV (has to be 60 inch +), not ordinary shower. Breakfast was good but what impressed me most was toilets which instead of dryer or paper towels had regular small towels nicely rolled.

The Aquapura SPA Wellness Centre stretches a staggering 3600 square metres and is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious in this part of Europe. A rich offer includes an indoor and outdoor pool, a panoramic sauna in the garden and a relaxation space with water beds and a SPA cinema. Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden is absolutely one of the most prestigious hotels within the Falkensteiner portfolio.     Upon checking in, we were provided with a Berchtesgaden card each, which provided us with free transport in the area and discounts at multiple attractions, we were also provided a map and booklet showcasing the attractions accessible with the card. Our room was perfect, plenty of space, and a balcony with seating area. The room was cleaned on each of the four days we stayed and the cleaning staff were very friendly when we bumped into them in the corridors. Breakfast was fantastic, with a full continental range on offer, some hot cooked items, and a hot drinks machine. As for location, it couldn't be any better situated unless it was on the lake itself, it's less than a minute walk to the ferry terminal, very close to lots of paths for any walkers, and 5 minutes walk from the bus station if you want to use your Berchtesgaden card to tour the local area. I would also highly recommend eating in the hotel restaurant in the evening at least once. The venison goulash had so much flavour, and is my favourite meal of our 2 week tour of Germany and Austria, and the boiled beef was great too!

    One of the most beautiful hotels in Switzerland - amidst the mountains, you will find the Swiss Holiday Park. They have 2 options - Hotel Rooms and Holiday Apartments. We took a holiday apartment and were really impressed by the quality. Large rooms, comfortable and with a lovely balcony. The bus station is named after the Hotel so you don’t have to worry about travel. There is a beautiful indoor and outdoor swimming pool and the staff is really helpful. The images match exactly with the rooms and it’s really very peaceful out here. 100% recommended for your stay. We stayed here for 2 nights, and via this place visited Mt. Titlis and Jungfraujoch and it wasn’t that difficult because this place was worth the extra travel for us.

    The most beautiful place I have ever stayed at! It was the favorite part of my trip - hotel was absolutely mindblowing, it looked like something from a history book and I loved it. Bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom looked brand new, and the view was extraordinary! Had dinner at the restaurant which faces the waterfall and the food was incredible, the staff probably the nicest I’ve ever experienced. And the BREAKFAST was the best breakfast I have ever had at any hotel before!! Would 100000% recommend this hotel to anyone and I could come to stay here again!

    Great position, 5 minute by car to the glacier Kitzeinhorn, 10 minute from lake zel am see, fantastic thermal center so clean and organized, nice gym and swimming pools. Great breakfast , dinner not so good ( in italy we cook better..). One particular mention to Hannes the man who propose excursion so professional and kind. The bycicle tour of the valley and around lake for me and my son was unforgetteble !

    its a bucket list hotel, the spa is unique, dolomites view and scenery, visited during Nov so Urtisei was a bit empty and everything closed but that gives you more time for spa or driving around exploring the area. Fortress, the Lift and Alstadt completed our perfect stay. Easy to get around. Salzburg card was a great way to travel and visit places.     Unfortunately there was heavy cloud cover the two days I was there and didn’t see the Matterhorn at all. Web cams at top showed nothing so didn’t go up. Gornergrat trip was worthwhile and good views of everything except the Matterhorn.i enjoyed walking round the old town. The Too Good to Go app was great for providing me with evening meals.

    Chamonix was a nice mountain town, with a pleasant dining district. We found it to be very pedestrian-friendly. We enjoyed the walking paths that lead up and down the valley. We could have used a little more information or maps about the hiking just outside the town.

    Lake Bled was wonderful, incredibly beautiful. We swam in the lake, paddle boarded on the lake, and caught the boat out to the island. The walk around the lake was picturesque, and lots of lovely places to eat and buy souvenirs in the town. Would go back in a heartbeat.

    The city is incredibly charming, with a vibe that feels much more Austrian than Italian. It’s also surrounded by plenty of beautiful hikes (which I wish I’d had time to do!). I only stayed for two days, and while one day is enough to see the city itself, the real highlight is exploring the trails and nature nearby. The food is distinctly Austrian, hearty and delicious, and the bakeries are absolutely fantastic.

    One of the most beautiful places in the region. Tourists' friendly atmosphere. Fantastic Free Ticino Transportation Ticket. Ability to visit other towns i.e. Locarno, Bellinzona in convenient way. Spectacular views from mountains around Lugano i.e. Monte San Salvatore. Close to other attractions i.e. Milan, Como Lake, Brassalago Islands.

    I enjoyed my visit to the castle .

    I enjoyed my visit to the castle .I did not have time to visit any other museums Thus I would like to return There were plenty of hill walks available within reasonable walking distance of the town

    Grindelwald is like a Swiss Fairytale.

    Grindelwald is like a Swiss Fairytale. All the wonderful Swiss Chalets, the incomparable alps, the charming Swiss people. Grindelwald is definitely a tourist town with shops selling all the Swiss trinkets, but that's part of the charm. No other place can you travel up to the famous Jungfrau and take in all that mountain offers. It's truly an adventure.
