I especially want to mention the breakfast - this was the best breakfast offer I have seen for a very long time, and I travel a lot! The people involved in the breakfasts are doing a great job! (If someone complains about the price - the price is completely reasonable, you have dozens and dozens of options for a salty or sweet breakfast, hot or cold, healthy or unhealthy - the buffet is super fresh and the dishes are tempting to look at) The room (n°47) was absolutely perfectly cleaned, top-notch cleanliness without a single speck awaited us, it can be seen that the maids are extremely careful, we owe them our big thanks for the beautifully prepared room! The room itself is bright and spacious, the beds are comfortable, the sheets are fragrant. Valentina and Phillipa 🪻cosmetics is absolutely breathtaking and the perfect choice for hotel guests. The lady at the front desk (I regret not getting her name) was an extremely helpful and service-oriented lady. She was immaculate. When we arrived, she ran over to help me with our bags and the check-in process was so family-like. Seeing that we were out of town visitors, she gave us a very good overview on Bregenz and even suggested sights for us to see. One of those in Lindau, which I had no idea about at all till she mentioned it. We followed up on her suggestion and it was the best idea ever. Very pleasant town, excellent bus and train services. Very novel that one of the train lines actually runs through the town, next to the cars! Has both narrow and standard gauge railways too. Bus services were frequent and reliable. There are some great restaurants, good bakeries and some nice shops. We used it as a base to travel to other places, and the good train links made that very easy. A pleasant town with some very agreeable corners such as Mitteldorf and the Princely Wine Estate. Excellent National Museum although the Art Museum is a disappointment as it contains virtually none of the wonderful paintings owned by the Prince, which surely could be shared between the Liechtenstein Museum in Vienna and the Kunstmuseum in Vaduz. It's easy to get around at the Liechtenstein Card is fantastic value, getting you in free to all sorts of places, including the winery. I only had two short, separate overnighters so tired on arrival. I would have liked more time to explore the old town in daylight and also visit Arosa by train. We were in Bregenz on the 23rd and 24th of August 2025. It was a coincidence that the Hafen Fest was on those days, and I cannot judge what is Bregenz usually like. For us there were too many people on the lake shore... but I know some people love this. The best places for me, must-sees: 1. Pfänderbahn (in good weather) 2.
