The food was exceptionally delicious and the employees are the nicest and friendliest we have ever experienced! We have been to many hotels in Austria and around the world, but these have been so far the best. We felt at home, our needs were met. They would even warm food for our toddler and would make suggestions for his food incase the kids menu was not what he could eat. They always found solutions to accommodate him too. This is a hotel that we will definitely visit again. Thats has never been the case. My toddler fell in love with Julia. She was amazing.. We didn't feel uneasy with the kids if they were hyper, the employees would indulge them and this would distract the kids. They didn't react irritated, they were welcoming. For the first time I found a cook who knows how to make Lamb meat. Yummy and delicious food. We were greeted and welcomed at the reception like VIPs. The beds were comfortable, the play room was really nice and we loved the table they selected for us during our stay. Amazing hotel, amazing team, everything was amazing. We loved it and wished we had booked longer. There are shops and cafés also in the area so incase one wants to shop or chill somewhere else, it's available. Best place for families. I was visiting Grossarl from Vienna for a long weekend to hike the alps and relax at the spa. Not only were the location and facilities absolutely beautiful, clean, and cozy, the staff was so attentive and professional. Everything felt like a dream- from being greeted with a welcome sekt to a lovely note with my name on it and complimentary chocolates in the room, to allowing a late check out and sending me off with a small gift of their own homemade smoked salt, everything was just perfect. I was treated so well by such friendly people. The dinners were an absolute highlight- each dish was brilliantly crafted and presented, and the taste almost made me cry. Delicious and extensive breakfast buffet, high quality 4-course evening meal for only €20 extra, fantastic value, particularly the gala dinner. Location very close to lifts and ski shops - we used the ski depot at the lift station which was very conveniently located (next to the excellent Rambazambar) Friendly and efficient staff in restaurant and at reception, immaculately clean rooms and public areas. Non-skiers in the group enjoyed the daily (free) activities, including yoga and hikes. Everything is made with the attention to the details and the comfort of the guests (spa as well). There were a lot of animals near the hotel, like a small zoo with rabbits, guinea pigs, pig, geese, etc. The way to the hotel was also a lot of fun cause you need to drive on a serpentine road. :))Guest review byAnka InkeLatvia

Grossarl is a booming ski town but in June 2023 the part west of the river was essentially a huge building site. However it was great for mountain walking once away from the town itself. Very friendly and supportive staff. The hotel rooms look newly renewed, the beds are comfortable and the sceneries in the mountain valley are breathtaking. The staff is friendly and very supportive, they go above and beyond when it comes to helping their guests. There was a mix-up with the room I had booked and the room I was checked into. But the staff quickly found a solution to offer us the best solution. Even at the breakfast, the staff makes sure that all the guest have what they need.
