No problem finding the place. Easy drive, even in the dark as it was, just 15 minutes from Innsbruck. We came late, when the reception was already closed, but had gotten clear instructions and the key was waiting in the locker with a code that had been sent to me. We rented one barrel and one Panorama lodge, both were super cute, cozy, warm and comfortable. In fact, it's amazing how everything can be designed so well. We loved the restaurant near reception. Great food, great wine, great beer, great dessert, great welcome and great views from the window. I did my check-in and check-out at once in the morning. I came very late but they left an envelope for me so i can check in myself. I was a bit afraid from the reviews here but although it is an older hotel, it has very hot water im the tub, clean beds and towels and ofcourse privacy in your room. I loved the beauty of Innsbruck and the friendly, kind locals. There was a wine festival and the atmosphere was wonderful with local musicians dressed in Tyrolean outfits and playing delightful music. The shops were great with many beautiful, well-made things to buy. It was delightful to walk into the old town by the river and the water was a gorgeous teal colour. Unexpected great discovery.
Unexpected great discovery. Visited in August and had an amazing experience, walking around the city and exploring nature around. Came by car from Luxembourg, roads were great, and not extremely busy. There are many hiking and biking trails with different degrees of difficulty just around the city, if traveling with small children, elder people or just don’t feel like walking up to the mountains, take the Nordkettenbahnen cable car from the city centre (c. 50 euros to the top), totally worth it. For some cultural activity, I recommend trying the Ambras castle. Just walking around the city and interacting with people was a great experience.Guest review byInmaSpain
