Heaps of cafes and restaurants, shopping all walking distance from beach front walks, train station short walk. Great night life considering it was just a normal weekend in winter. If you like the beach within a walking distance of the shops and a short drive to Geelong then Ocean Grove would suit perfectly. Perfect location when anrriving off the Spirit of Tasmania away from the hustle and bustle of the city. beautiful resort. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed and for the event we were attending. The staff upon checking in and checking out were very friendly, warm and welcoming. It is interesting to see both the open ocean and inside Port Phillip heads, both geographically and historically. The Lighthouse is well kept and safe to explore. Nice quiet location which can be used as a base for Queenscliff and further along the Great Ocean Road.
