We had awesome time at Daintree Manor. We stayed three nights and it was not enough, we wish we stayed 5. We loved the actual Manor, built from beautiful timber with stunning timber floors throughout, our luxury room had beautiful furniture and a gorgeous panel on the wall. The bed was super comfy with nice linen. The house is off the grid relying on solar power and rain water but all the comforts are provided to have a great rest and enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding stunning gardens inhabited by birds, butterflies and wildlife. The gardens and the views from the balcony are breathtaking and you always see different birds, butterflies and dragonflies depending on the time of the day. Our hosts Charmaine and Robbie are super hosts, ensuring you are treated like gold and well looked after. They serve a healthy cooked breakfast every morning which is served on the balcony with best views to the rainforest and gardens. Freshly brewed Lavazza coffee and 15 different teas are available at all times. They bring boiled water from their stove. Everything we experienced at the Daintree Manor is ecologically friendly. Most enjoyable of all was the company of our hosts who have lived there for a long time and both are very knowledgeable of the rainforest, the wildlife and how to behave if you encounter it. They made our stay unforgettable and we are so grateful for the shared knowledge and experiences. If you want to go back to nature and find the Paradise Lost head to Daintree Manor and experience the True one.

Dean and Joadi are indeed wonderful hosts, very kind and considerate. They provide excellent information about the area, and are always very helpful. The bungalow I rented had all the essentials for a ideal stay in the Daintree National Park, I particularly appreciated the details such as; the torch, the umbrellas, and the beach chairs! The barbecue area is also most definitely a highlight. The location is ideal since the property is equidistant from the entry of the park, and Cape Tribulation, the main attractions are easily reachable by car, and literally 50 meters away from Thorthon beach. So if you are looking to explore this wonderful place of the world enjoying a simple yet well organised accommodation without draining your budget this is most definitely the best place to choose! Beautiful and spotless home with everything you could need while on holiday. The host was amazing and quick to reply. Woolworths straight across the road, everything located close by. Kids loved the large backyard too.

We stayed in Greg’s property for 1 night in Oct., 2024. Greg was a very nice and welcoming host, and the lodge was clean. The breakfast was also great! Some of the facilities (e.g. the fridge in our lodge) isn’t fully working due to cyclone Jasper’s damage. However, it was totally understandable as the entire area hasn’t fully recovered from the damage yet, and Greg did his best to make things as comfortable as possible. The free WiFi in room was working and was in reasonable speed. We highly recommend staying in Greg’s property when visiting Daintree / Diwan area!
