Lived in Sydney for quite a few years till I moved to Queensland. Sydney is overly busy now and when I visit I especially head for the Rocks area which is extremely interesting. While here we ate in the Rocks area which has plenty of restaurants and cafes. I always found it easy to get around Sydney either with buses or trains and ferries. Being a couple over 75 and only there for two days the only trip we did was go to Manly for the day.Guest review byTheresaAustralia - 10.0

What pleasure to sit/walk and observe the Hunter River from the Newcastle foreshore. Delightful beaches are in easy access. So too Newcastle inner-city area. Stockton (on the northside of the river is worth an excursion and reminder to "old" Newcastle. Excellent train service to Maitland and bus services to other near locations.Guest review byBillAustralia - 10.0
Lovely holiday.
Lovely holiday. We really enjoyed The Big Banana, Coffs Coast Wildlife Santuary, the beaches and walks on the jetty and the island. We even saw wales from the top of the island. Our children are 10 and 12.Guest review byVictoriaAustralia - 10.0
Low-key vibe to the area and town.
Low-key vibe to the area and town. Not at all built up, considering it is a popular destination. Loads of great restaurants, accommodation and shops to choose from. Recommend using Byron Bay kayaks for watching the whales and dolphins, a highlight of my trip! Went to Bang Bang restaurant (Asian sharing - good food but noisy) and the Treehouse (great food). We had a car and managed to visit neighbouring towns and beaches, which were also low-key with original buildings, so quaint.Guest review byDebbieNew Zealand - 10.0

Love the setting whether travelling alone, with families, a couple or as a group. There’s something for everyone. Choose to relax or go on adventures. Beaches, bars & restaury, salons 👌 walk & jog along the break wall for sunrise & sunset is so relaxing. Of course we didn’t miss Ricardoes tomatoes! 😀Guest review byNenitaAustralia - 8.0

Best: clean, refresh, modern apartment, really well appointed and in a great location with restaurants and coffee shops an easy walk. Not so: no direct heating in the bathrooms so uncomfortably cold in the cooler weather.Guest review byDianaAustralia - 8.0
Country location with a city feel.
Country location with a city feel. Great cafes and restaurants in both Albury and Wodonga. High end shopping centre. Short drive to wineries and and tourist towns like Beechworth, Bright and Yarrawonga. When ever I am in Albury I always stock up on great produce at Harris’s Farm Markets. Take a stroll through the Botanic Gardens.Guest review byDianeAustralia - 10.0

It's our closest regional city, from our farm a couple of hours distant. The city has its own country feel, events, music yes but also any kind of music you want to enjoy, friendly retailers and staff, helpful accommodation and hospitality staff. I've known its centre all my life; so has my immediate family. Best of all is "it's NOT Newcastle," a sprawling bigger city. Tamworth is easier and faster to navigate. It's growing and adding more types of events year by year, so it is a great place to shop, enjoy entertainment and hospitality, obtain essentials and extras for cars and farm, see fine art, just a familiar, progressive place to visit with its heritage values.Guest review byEddyAustralia
