We had our own little cabin which felt like a little home, and it was lovely and quiet, really kind gesture of free TimTams in our fridge too, there was lots for families to do but it was amazing for us as a couple too. we’re now looking at other BIG4s to stay in!Guest review byJasmineGuernsey

Very easy to navigate and get around.
Very easy to navigate and get around. We walked a short display to Fortitude valley train station and made our way to South Bank for less than $5 for 2 adults and 3 kids. Had the best time at Sth Bank park and man made pool, then a great dinner, drinks and live music at a pub 5min walking distance from the pool, easy walk back to train station. 3 happy exhausted kids and 2 happy adultsGuest review byDianaAustralia - 10.0
I loved it.
I loved it. It had been some 15 years since I had visited and truly loved it better than I expected. I think staying in the quieter part of GC was the key. If you like the hustle and bustle definitely go closer to Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach. Wet and Wild was so much fun with Seaworld on our doorstep was amazing. Main beach restaurants were awesome as well.Guest review byKristineAustralia - 6.0
There really isn’t much to see in downtown Cairns.
There really isn’t much to see in downtown Cairns. To enjoy it, you have to go out to the islands, but this always requires paying a high price, and there aren’t many options in terms of timing. I would instead recommend staying briefly at a resort on one of the islands and then returning. Kuranda and the other rainforests were more developed as tourist attractions than I expected. Everywhere you go, you have to pay an entrance fee, and the shops all felt the same without any unique character.Guest review bychoiAustralia - 8.0

A very interesting and multi-cultural town with a diverse range of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and shops, a very large country town that also hosts a wonderful flower show mid-September. Also an amazing new airport just out of town called Wellcamp indicates this is an elevated - go ahead - rural town with some lovely real estate features, great schools and landmark views over the Lockyer Valley. In fact the other "table land towns" Dalby, Warwick, Stanthorpe and many. many more provide a great insight into rural Australia. Very worthy of planning a road trip and hiring a car!!!Guest review byMaxwellAustralia - 10.0

If you are after a relaxing holiday destination, with a pleasant time strolling around shops and food options - Port Douglas is a good choice. Weekend markets in the area are a really cool morning activity. We really enjoyed the Lady Douglas boat tour, the Captain was informative of the area and very accommodating for Photographers. The Wildlife Habitat had some amazing experiences up close and personal and also the atmosphere and staff of the Tin Shed was always perfect for an evening out.Guest review byAmyNew Zealand - 10.0

I attended a cricket game at Harrup Park, which I had never been to before. Google maps made it easy to find and the facilities are amazing. One afternoon, I walked the Mackay Bluewater Trail. It was interesting and I felt safe on the trail.Guest review byKENAustralia - 10.0
