- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 93 reviewsOur stay at Narrows Escape was pure perfection! The service was beyond exceptional—we were treated to complimentary champagne, chocolates, roses, cheese, and freshly baked croissants every morning. They even offered personal drives into town and on excursions, making our stay effortless, luxurious and well worth it. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the hospitality was truly five-star. Montville is also a really cute little town with good restaurants and services, would come back!Guest review byMattFrance

Lovely area lots of shops, cafes and restaurants.
Lovely area lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Recommend using public transport which was very good and much better than taking your own car. On our next visit we would definitely not book LaPromenade Apartments in Tay Avenue, Caloundra as the only good thing about our apartment was the view. Our apartment on second floor 204 had uncomfortable outdated seating in lounge and old rusty seating on balcony and apartment was dirty when we arrived. Problem with La Promenade is that all apartments are individually owned and the owners of our apartment had done no maintenance, other than buy a new electric frying pan. Bed was comfortable but the shower and shower base, taps and surroundings like tiles and skirting boards were dirty, dusty and lots of hair everywhere on the floor. I had to clean the shower, toilet and bathroom floor which took over two hours until I felt I could use the facility. There was a dirty cupboard in bathroom which was left open and full of dust seemed to have pipes in it. Management were notified of our concerns by email with photos but did nothing and had not checked our apartment prior to our arrival as they claimed they were busy and cleaner had been sick. We had to wait 7 days to get the rug in lounge room vacuumed. Otherwise we had a lovely holiday in Caloundra but happy to go home after two weeks.Guest review byJaneAustralia - 6.0

We have already advised many friends to check before you arrive at Netanya - that they are staying at the correct place. As we are well travelled - Noosa is one of our top favourite places in the world. We were in great need of a break and we were greatly disappointedGuest review byBrendaAustralia - 10.0

We have been travelling to Mooloolaba for over 25 years, and just love it. We have watched it develop from an underdeveloped “little sister” to Noosa, to a thriving superstar of a location. It is definitely the best beach on the Sunshine Coast. The town planners have done an excellent job of making Mooloolaba a wonderful place to visit. From the boardwalk to the strengthening of the sand dunes/sea wall, to the vegetation surrounding the town, and the fabulous picnic areas and playgrounds for the public. Business owners have responded with many, many wonderful restaurants, shops and other services. Most of the buildings, I noticed when we very recently visited, have been revamped and there is much more parking with a cleverly disguised multi-level car park. Mooloolaba has my heart, and if you visit, it will have yours, also.Guest review byLahiffAustralia - 8.0

We stayed at Apartment 14 & were very disappointed with the level of cleanliness. The carpets were dirty and in need of a professional clean. There was visible dirt on the floors, with the tiled areas sticky underfoot. The ensuite sink had not been cleaned with sand left on the counter and the shower still had hair inside. The top of the fridge was dusty and dirty and the furniture, particularly the couches had sweat mark from continual use and had not been cleaned. The balcony was also covered in sand and bird droppings. Overall, the apartment felt unclean and poorly maintained. We paid for 2 nights but left after 1. I have photos I can share.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Great area for a vacation situated in a section of the south bank of the Noosa River between Tewantin and Noosa Sound. There is a plethora of round-a-bouts in this local Council area and for visitors it can be a bit confusing when driving as it is easy to turn off one of them prematurely and find yourself heading in an unintended direction. Plus the traffic often is moving at pace and at times it is a matter for extreme caution to avoid impact. Better signage on approach would help tremendouslyGuest review byRoadTrip101Australia - 10.0

The beach was nice and there was a good variety of eateries close by. The bus service was great to use. It was also a good base to travel to some other destinations like Eumundi Market and Australia Zoo.Guest review byBrett HandAustralia - 10.0

Best is cleanliness and staffs were all helpful and friendly. Parking was plenty and secured. Just one thing with TV, I couldn’t link to their wifi so I couldn’t watch Netflix but overall was amazing. Definitely will choose to stay here again when I’m up for work.Guest review byMsOnnichaAustralia - 10.0

Montville is a gorgeous town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland .. I just love it and keep coming back. So close to everything - including beaches, shopping centres - yet far enough away to escape from the world! Cool winters, open fireplaces and autumn leaves make the place even more special.Guest review byJoanneAustralia - 10.0

Maleny is a quaint, beautiful and magical place. We loved the trail from the property into town, loved to walk around the little boutique shops and also great that all amenities can be bought there. The pharmacy isn't open on Sunday's so take note. We recommend booking restaurants ahead of time.Guest review byKelly FenningAustralia - 10.0
