Lovely city and very easy to get around.
Lovely city and very easy to get around. Would highly recommend the myki card for the tram services. The trams get you to most places you want to see. Great shopping city with shops and shopping malls to suit all budgets. Fans of UGG could get great deals on a large variety of boots and other merchandise. Most of the UGG shops based on Catherine Street. I from Ireland and the price difference is immense. When you do the shopping and realise that there no room in your case take the tram out to DFO South Wharf and buy a reasonably priced suitcase for your extra purchases. Be sure to book it on your plane online before the airport. I made that mistake and got charged extra at the airport.Guest review byTeresaIreland - 10.0

Heaps of cafes and restaurants, shopping all walking distance from beach front walks, train station short walk. Great night life considering it was just a normal weekend in winter. Every part of Geelong we saw was very clean and maintained, great place to walk and relax.Guest review byDennisAustralia - 10.0

Loved the trees and plants around the house, it was very warm and cosy, kitchen facilities were great and house was spacious. We very much enjoyed our stay. Just needs a little bit more lighting for reading, but overall it was a wonderful place to get away.Guest review byJennyAustralia - 10.0
Very pretty town quite an interesting history.
Very pretty town quite an interesting history. Great cafes but the night life is about what you would expect. Fantastic art gallery near the river and an arts centre as well. Everything you could need in terms of shopping. Lots of cool day trips on offer as well. I would visit again but always in spring, never go in winter or summer! Oh and there are flies: it is the outback after all.Guest review byNicoleAustralia - 4.0

A country town with lots to do. The new art gallery is spectacular. The things I wanted to see and will go bck to see were the cow sculpture trail, the Furphy dispaly at the car museum and the costume museum. I was a bit surprised by the abundance of pay car parking in the city centre.Guest review byJanAustralia - 10.0

Everyone seemed very friendly and helpful. On leaving Echuca we followed the Silo Trail back to Benalla.Guest review byJennifer
