We had limited time in the city on this trip with our grand daughter. Have enjoyed many attractions on previous occasions as there are many. A great range of places to visit ! Rio Vista is a time capsule of living in the past and well worth the visit. The Botanical Gardens were a lovely place to walk and enjoy native plants as well as examples from other continents. The map was easy to follow. It would be even more spectacular in Spring . Walking by the Murray was very tourist friendly- great paths and excellent cafe. A great range of take away foods are available if you don't want to eat out . Water Heat running Hot then Cold made showering a bad experience Also it had a shower over Bath and when we conplained about the water we were told we should not use the Bath as it was not intended for use as thet wanted to remove it but it was too expensive to do so. Really enjoyed our hour long cruise on the “Canberra” Paddle Steamer. The American Hotel was a lovely experience with live music and great food. Lots of fantastic places to eat, any time of the day.
