About the beach – exceeded expectations: I struggled to figure out the situation of their private beach on the website, but once I got there I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice, clean and swimmable private beach area with umbrellas, chairs and showers. Our stay felt like being surrounded by a local, caring family rather than a hotel! It was airy and comfortable as i could open the window for fresh air. Its location was near the Nizami street with Taxi ride of around 5 Manat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Specially their General Manager Mr. Khizri , who personally came to greet me on arrival. and Service Manager Mr. Ayaz also helped in understating city and its amenities and how to roam around. The other supporting staff who were very helpful, nice and amiable included Mr. Adil, Mr. Riaz and specially Ms. Noor Zhan. The above people were really friendly and professional. The city is really beautiful and easy to get around. I found walking by the sea side incredibly relaxing. I particularly enjoyed the botanic garden and my day trip to Gobustan. I tried to eat at the local restaurants and really liked Firuze and Dolma. I'd highly recommend the düşbere which is a dumpling soup. If you are planning for good trip to Baku , plan couple of days in Baku city to go around Old city town , and go to mountaineous regions as City doesnt have much to give . the city traffic is horrible and it takes min 30-40 mins for a distance of 5 kms. Bolt app is good to go around . Food delivery apps like BOLT food, Wolt are all helpful. My experience in the city was not great as i had to find some hospital for an emergency for my kid and none of the hospitals i went to accepted travel insurance and had to pay lot of money for consultation specially if you want English speaking doctors .
