A very warm welcome and a change of room was much welcome. We were soaked through with rain after our long motorcycle journey. The bath was just what we needed. Thank you very much. Secure parking for the bike was good too. And the restaurant next door has great food, they even done my steak well Bein Cui.

Such a cute little town, very close to Dinant. We stayed for one night in a charming little room, which had everything you needed for a single night. The staff were friendly and spoke understandable English. We enjoyed everything about it. There’s plenty of street parking all over town, so coming with car is no problem.

Outdoor Pursuits Amid Picturesque Nature

A tranquil region of meandering rivers, lush hills and picturesque towns, the Belgium Ardennes is mainly covered in forest and is an outdoor pursuits haven.

Most Belgian Ardennes hotels on Booking.com are in stately Spa, a cold spring town after which all spa towns are named. It also has many casinos and is near the legendary Spa-Francorchamps race track, host of the F1 Belgian Grand Prix.

Durbuy claims to be the world’s smallest town, and its cobbled streets, half-timbered houses and topiary park are certainly worth visiting. On the Ourthe River, this quaint town has a castle and several luxury Ardennes hotels. Also on the Ourthe, popular La Roche-en-Ardenne has a medieval castle overlooking the riverside town. To the east, Vielsalm is by a peaceful lake in the Ardennes mountains, while Rochefort is famous for its Trappist monastery and brewery.

Further south Bastogne has poignant reminders of its place in World War II, most notably the Battle of the Bulge. It is close to the Luxembourg border, as is Arlon, home to an excellent archaeological museum.

Close to France is beautiful Bouillon, whose castle overlooks the town sweeping around a U-shaped bend of the Lemois River. On the Meuse River is Dinant, spectacularly situated at the foot of a rock topped with a castle.

    I booked this hotel for my clients from London for a hiking trip in the High Fence and they absolutely loved it. I am from the region but moved to London in the early 2000s and did not know this hotel, to be fair I do not know much about the region anymore. The staff are great, very helpful and have a very good level of English. check in was easy, the rooms are large and clean and the booking process was easy. We did not eat but the restaurant was full on the first day so book in advance if you want a table. Nice bar area, ambiance and the pool was closed but a nice addition to the hotel. Also about 10 minutes walk from the train station downward, so you don’t need a taxi to reach there. It is located next to a great chocolatier(Darcy) and the main shopping centre so the location cannot be more perfect. Really a good discovery. I had to wait a couple of times for my clients at reception and they were very nice and easy about it. I had a glass of rose wine at the bar, great choice and only 4 euro 50. It is a busy restaurant and bar and yet it was quiet. And on the top of that it was a famous cycling race that weekend and most of the hotel was booked for the cyclists and it was still neat and quiet. I will definitely come back in a few months with other clients and some of those who would like to come back 🙂

    The food and bread was MOLDY! All plastic food containers are from host his own fridge with broken plastic trays, milk chocopasta and juice bottles are opened and already used. Host is very rude and tells you to take your shoes off and lower the temperature before you go to sleep and when you leave. and the accommodation is really dirty! UNBELIEVABLE! Please don't go there!

    Excellent and clean spa, sauna and steam room. It’s not as awesome as the Caracalla Therme in Baden Baden, but it makes up for it in scenic beauty and atmosphere. The staff is multilingual and speaks French, Dutch, German and English.

    We were just passing through and only staying one night so we didn't really see Malmedy at all. However, the apartment was very Beautiful and clean and airy and bright and the location was very good, being about 1 km outside the town up on the hill in the countryside

    The castle is unmissable.

    The castle is unmissable. The walking in the area is excellent. The Tombeau du Geant and the Belvedere viewing platform near Bouillon are well worth visiting. The bus to Corbion (once per day out and back) allows access to walking in the Rochehaut and Cretes-de-Frahan area - also beautiful.

    Amazing weekend away if you want to indulge into the history that comes with Bastogne. Visit the war museum / war rooms and Bois Jacques ! Fancy dinner at a unique location? Make reservations at Wagon Leo for a great dining experience in a unique setting!

    Francorchamps is a very small town (village).

    Francorchamps is a very small town (village). There isn't much to see or do but we were there for the Formula 1 so there was a good atmosphere and sufficient bars/restaurants to have a good variety.

    A beautiful area.

    A beautiful area. I was traveling by bicycle and the area had abundant smooth, safe bike paths. Good restaurants, shopping, historical sites. I was traveling alone, but I want to bring my wife to Stavelot. I highly recommend seeing/staying/eating/shopping in Stavelot.

    a must do tourist thing, but Durbuy can be seen in 1 hour as it's that small. Do sit down on a terras and enjoy one of the local beers, do a hike to the viewing point using the small stairs hidden behind the hotels in the main street. Parking is cheaper when using the parking spaces outside of the city center and within 10 minutes of walking you arrive in the city centre.
