- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,383 reviewsThe hotel is a charming building with a small garden. It is relatively close to the center of Ghent. It has been very accessible with a car since it has parking and easy to reach the highway since we also toured Brussels and Bruges. The room was very spacious, with a separate kitchen, a big bathroom, and the main area divided into two sections; one with the double bed and the other with 2 single beds for our daughters. The breakfast is rich enough for all of us to find what we like. The stuff were very friendly and took care to every need we had. We also used the laundry services, which was very fast and quite cheap. And last but not least, we enjoyed the pool and sauna which was a great way to relaxin the evening. To sum up, it felt like home away from home. We would definitely love to come back again.Guest review byAmirIsrael
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 966 reviewsA great stay at a beautiful hotel. Check in was eady and our room was in a separate building across the road from the main complex. Our room was very comfort and clean, with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast in the morning reflected the fact that this hotel is reknowned for its kitchen and its food. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone needing somewhere to stay in this area.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 46 reviewsSuperb B&B in a beautiful location. It’s an old construction fully renovated, very cozy and warm. We went in December and enjoyed the fireplace and the bath in our room. The homemade breakfast is served in a cozy bar with views to the scenery. The owners are extremely friendly and gave us tips to discover the area. There are plenty of trekking options and biker trails. We will certainly come back in summer!Guest review byLAURABelgium
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.2Good - What previous guests thought, 1,042 reviewsThe room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Although you may think that it is an ordinary roadside hotel, it was definetly much more than that. Restaurant looked decent (not ate there so only the look) with a corner for the small kids to play. Rich breakfast offering also healthy choices was great. Definetely will come back again.Guest review byOzlemBelgium

It is ok to visit St Niklaas for 1 day as it is small town. It is good in combination with the visit to Antwerp. There are few historical sights. The restaurants usually close at 22.00 so make sure that you go to eat on time.Guest review byNataliaBelgium - 10.0

Lovely little town right between Brussels and Ghent - so perfect location to explore both cities if you have a car. The village itself is peaceful, clean and green with lots of helpful people who speak English and French. There is an amazing little tavern in the village where we stayed, but many more restaurants in the town.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Oudennarde is a lovely town with a beautiful square in the centre. It's a great place to have a Belgian beer and watch the world go by. There are plenty of places to eat but Margarethas is by far the best. It might appear to be expensive but you get excellent food for your money. A walk by the river is recommended - especially on a sunny day. Additionally, Donk Lake is also a lovely place for a walk - or to watch the wake boarders. Unfortunately, it rained every day while we were there. A trip to Ghent is probably recommended if you spend more than two to three nights here.Guest review byLenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

beautiful historic town ,very friendly people. parking was plentiful and once you got to grip with the language most directions were easy to follow. for people with the love of biking, this area is idyllic and very safe. we were impressed with the facilities both on and of the road side for mobility scooters and wheelchairs, often taking priority over cars and other traffic. everywhere was so clean and especially public conveniences. there were nice straight roads to other areas such as Sint-Niklaas and Sint- Pauwels , tempse. many sightseeing spots. Overall atmosphere was friendly and laid back. we are hoping to visit againGuest review byAndreaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Didn't see much of town as I was involved elsewhere, but it had some bistros and restaurants. It was a clean and tidy place, parking was good near the hotel. A good base to tour north-west Belgium. Very close to main roads.Guest review byJeffreyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Close to the motorway network in a quiet affluent suburb of Ghent. Riverside location High quality hotel with good staff. The house wine was a Grand Cru St Emilion, and was outstanding! Good parking, altogether a nice place to stay after a long day in a 70 year old car! geared to corporate / events / anniversaries, but looked after us very well. It rounded off a 7 day 1500 mile driving holiday really well...and comfortably under two hours to the Tunnel.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Ghent is the mix city between the 'historical' Bruges and...
Ghent is the mix city between the 'historical' Bruges and the 'student' city of Leuven and the 'advanced' city of Antwerp. So visiting Ghent gives you a feeling of a young, progressive city that did not forget it's past. Do not come to Ghent if you want to see one aspect of Belgian life - Ghent has, gives and lives it all to the fullest. Next to that the unconventionallity, little rebelry is still giving it, its own nature - not to be compared to any city. This city contains own, foreignand mixed cultures so any corner you turn will amaze.Guest review byDegrooteEgypt
