A beautiful area. I was traveling by bicycle and the area had abundant smooth, safe bike paths. Good restaurants, shopping, historical sites. The Waimes Area of villages near to the Hautes Fagnes is okay but we prefer the other side of the border; Eifel. The villages are nicer and the facilities better (shops, supermarkets, points of interests) We had a lot of snow so the Hautes Fagnes were beautiful! A quaint little town in Brussels. Even with the Grand Prix nearby, it was never too crowded or noisy. We visited the Cathedrale Saint Pierre, and then explored the nearby Plaza which had small local restaurants surrounding it.
