Very comfortable and cosy room with a nice view towards the nearby canal. The check-in was a self-check-in that went seamlessly with all the information provided in a timely manner. I loved the ground floor decoration as well as the decoration of the room. The bathroom was new, the shower very comfortable. The hotel is very super mega clean. The breakfast was amazing. The very secure parking very conveniently located as it was the hotel!

    Liked the walking tour of Bruges (excellent brochure available from the Tourist Information Centre) and the Visit Bruges app. Enjoyed a cruise on a canal boat, which provides a perspective on the town not available when walking. Loved the many grand old buildings. Autumn seems to be a good time to visit; I can imagine the crowds of tourists in the summer time would be overwhelming and make for an unpleasant experience.

    Beach was clean and there was plenty of space.

    Beach was clean and there was plenty of space. It would have been better to stay nearer the town centre as our apartment was to far to walk. There is also a dog beach which was a bonus. Resturants and cafes were expensive.

    Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination...

    Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination. We like it due to the convenient transport, the train stops in the center of the city. The city is not big and has its charm, by walking it is possible to reach each attraction. The tram allows you to go to the other cities and towns located along the Belgian coast. Therefore, your trip can be even more attractive.

    An incredible town with an amazing atmosphere and very friendly people. We were blown away by how knowledgeable the people we met were of the history of the town and how willing they were to talk to us about it. The museum was mind blowing and we spent a day there. The last post ceremony of a night time was so moving and something we will never forget. On top of the historical aspects the food, beer and wine were also very impressive so we can’t wait to get back.

    Nieuwpoort consists of the main town which in a little distance inland, and Nieuwpoort-Bad which is at the seaside. Make sure you pick the right one. Nieuwpoort-Bad is one of the better Belgian seaside towns with shops, good hotels and apartments, and entertainment. It’s also a good base from which to drive or take the Littoral tram along the coast. Parking can be a pain, but most of the seaside towns offer 30mins free then €1 or €1.50 per hour. But you have to register your number plate and take a ticket for the free 30 mins option. Santos Palace in nearby Koksijde is a must visit for hot chocolate, waffles and patisserie.

    Lovely little town with diverse shops, grocers, bakers. Beach and sea spotless, excellent life guards, good play areas for the kids. An excellent sea side holiday with lots of attractions close by and a tram to take you there so leave the car at home.

    I have travelled back to the UK from De Panne many times, it is only about 50 mins from the tunnel, and far enough away from Calais and all its problems. Plus, De Panne is a Belgian holiday seaside resort, lots of restaurants, and off the promenade, lots of last minute present buying shops. I have bought so much chocolate from here in the past.

    A stunning village - for anyone interested in architecture...

    A stunning village - for anyone interested in architecture it is worth taking the time to stroll the wide boulevards and check out the incredible houses, each different from the other. The beach is close by with a long paved promenade, deckchairs and many facilities. There is also a tram service through the centre of town with one direct to Ostende and train connection to Brugge.
