- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,953 reviewsThe whole staff was friendly and always welcoming. The service at breakfast was so quick and efficient. It took them around 3 minutes after ordering to have fresh scrambled or fried eggs at the table. Astonishing! And of course the breakfast itself was great too. There was an excellent atmosphere at the hotel throughout our whole stay and we liked our room, the patio and the lounge a lot. I would warmly recommend this place to anyone staying in Blankenberge. The beach and the station are close by and so it only took us 15 minutes to get to Bruges by train.Guest review byIngaGermany
- From US$153.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 5,879 reviewsAbsolutely! We had booked a stay with a different hotel 9 minutes away by car but our son’s basketball team all stayed here. So I booked our last night here so we could check out the ocean view and be closer to restaurants and the beach to have the convenience of just walking up for the night vs driving back to the other hotel further out. We all agreed this was the better view, and room. We didn’t stay for breakfast bc we had a game though.Guest review byKaraUnited States

Fantastic city, every body helpful towards a disabled person, restaurant staff A1 great service always smiling, my shopping was a pleasure, small problem = cobbled streets not good for wheel chair use, but I would never change them part of the old, beautiful BrugesGuest review bypeter - 8.0

Nice places to visit in the city, plenty of restaurants and shops. Sea side is very good and well maintained, very clean. Easy to move around, Tram and train station, all usable with your bank card. Usually plenty of carpark places all over the city. We drove around from here to other city's like Bruge and Ghent and it was fast and it is amazing how they kept the speed limits quite high even in the city. Well done Belgium.Guest review byV - 10.0

Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination. We like it due to the convenient transport, the train stops in the center of the city. The city is not big and has its charm, by walking it is possible to reach each attraction. The tram allows you to go to the other cities and towns located along the Belgian coast. Therefore, your trip can be even more attractive.Guest review byAnonymousBelgium - 4.0

Visiting the beach of Knokke Heist helps me understand even more why people come to Greece for summer vacation. The sea is a joke... Greece, the land of blue skies and crystal clear waters... The sea in Knokke is grey at best!!!Guest review byTheodorosGreece - 10.0

An interesting Vlaanderen city (A small one) that is packed with fine architecture and history. I enjoy good beer and Ieper has lots of it. It has some good restaurants plus fast food places and shops for groceries etc. As a base, you are near to the coast and other places of interest. I visit at least once a year and I always find something to keep me interested. My Dutch is very limited but a simple "spreek je Engels?" will usually get a reply in English, "Of course!" so good for UK visitors.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Nieuwpoort consists of the main town which in a little distance inland, and Nieuwpoort-Bad which is at the seaside. Make sure you pick the right one. Nieuwpoort-Bad is one of the better Belgian seaside towns with shops, good hotels and apartments, and entertainment. It’s also a good base from which to drive or take the Littoral tram along the coast. Parking can be a pain, but most of the seaside towns offer 30mins free then €1 or €1.50 per hour. But you have to register your number plate and take a ticket for the free 30 mins option. Santos Palace in nearby Koksijde is a must visit for hot chocolate, waffles and patisserie.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean and in a great location, views from the balcony were amazing ! All round terrace so views from every room. Lift access from a free car parking space underneath the building. Kitchen had everything you need for but if you are coming by car remember to bring the little things like coffee, tea and sugar and a tea towel and maybe a coat hanger or two, me personally lived out of my case so it did not bother me too much but my friend hand her clothes on the coat pegs in the hallway. Not a biggie. There is a Lidl and Aldi about a mile away which was handy, but we did not see any other shops close by, it was February so possibly the shops are seasonal. Transport links very good, and we caught the coastal tram to Ostend which was just under 8 euros for a day pass, so you can hop on and off all day. I cannot say anything negative about the apartment and would highly recommendGuest review byrachelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A stunning village - for anyone interested in architecture it is worth taking the time to stroll the wide boulevards and check out the incredible houses, each different from the other. The beach is close by with a long paved promenade, deckchairs and many facilities. There is also a tram service through the centre of town with one direct to Ostende and train connection to Brugge.Guest review byPatriciaFrance
