The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Location couldn't be more perfect, just in the heart of attractions, old town, shopping and restaurants. Although the hotel does not serve breakfast, this is not an issue as there are coffee shops around...spoilt for choice.

    Great little hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms are a bit dated but all of them have a wonderful view and for this price you really get value for your money. The location was walking distance from great restaurants, tucked away in a small street next to a river. They provided free parking on site and both our rooms had a private balcony with a stunning view. The rooms are very spacious and provided with all you need for a comfortable stay (including a fridge, tv, good wifi connection, spare blankets and pillows and a cute sitting area). If you book with them directly you get a much better price!

    The hotel is very child friendly which is what we liked the most. They had special robes and slippers, plus special soap and a lovely bear sponge… great details that made my boys feel like the main guest. The kids Club with animators and many activities for the children was the best and gave us a bit of time to have an adult dinner a couple of times, also, our kids were really happy. The hotel is very lovely and the staff in general very nice. The buffet always nice and big.

    The venue is nice and definitely exceeded my expectations given the 2* classification of the hotel. The definitely could get an extra star given what they actually offer in my opinion :-). Staff was nice and helpful. The balneo center is well equipped and maintained with variety of procedures offerred (mud, luga, jacuzzi, pool, etc). Tasty home-made food available for both lunch and dinner.

    The hotel has outdoor and indoor olympic pool. The small heated pool at the outside was great. Although, the temperature was very cold, we could enter the pool and enjoyed it there on a snowy day. Breakfast was also good, foods were delicious. Receptionists were very helpful.     Food and service at Sani was very good. Train journey to Plovdiv good and very cheap. Trail walks good. Asenovgrad is changing rapidly, new buildings generally look really good. Sign Communication and rubbish collection needs to improve. As does an explanation of how to get to eg pamporovo.

    I think every Bulgarian must visit the Museum of Vasil Levski - it is kind of mandatory, we are obliged as descendants of those brave men. The other place that charmed us was a restaurant called "Едно време" (Once Upon a Time). It has a great atmosphere and service, and the cuisine is delicious.

    Visited for hiking to Balkan Mts, Botev Peak. Enjoyed our stay and the mountain. Imposing Socialist monument at the centre of the town. Nice restaurant at the very center. Nice draft beer and nice surrounding. Other restaurants of Kalofer were closed at the afternoon. We were surprised with the road network of Bulgaria which is in very good condition. Make sure you pay the appropriate vignette online before entering the country by car.

    Perushtitsa is a small picturesque town, located at the outskirts of Rhodope Mountains. There are several tourist trails that start from the center of the town to the nearby mountains. Perushtitsa played a key part in Bulgarian history during the 1876 uprising against the Ottoman rule and during the Unification of Bulgaria with Eastern Rumelia. There is a museum at the center of the town and several historical places in the city. Perushtitsa also has a very good beer brewery at the edge of the town with taproom and a huge yard, that is very family friendly.

    Plovdiv deserves 3 full days. It has so much to offer. Visit the old houses in the old town / you have 6- 7 of them/ and galleries. Walk the cobbeled streets and the old farmacy and numerous restaurans. See the Roman ruins spread around town. Anciant amfitheater.VISIT THE BASILICA with huge mosaics. Walk the besutiful park and hills. Visit nearby BACKOVO monastery.Do not miss the artistic Kapana district.

    This is a great place to visit. My son broke my camera, so I have only half memories documented. More to that, mineral water was off on our second day of staying.
