Wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful. We loved the breakfast and the bed was very comfortable. We also love the owner that is a very nice person. Everything was though to high standards. We'll highly recommend this quite and peaceful place that is a perfect scape to recover from a long trip. We're grateful and happy with our stay.

The hotel is located in the center of the historic district, perfect location. We liked there are little restaurants located on the first floor of the hotel. There were not many dining options open on the street. We liked the room was set up for dining in, with full kitchen with stove and refrigerator. The breakfast was very good. The food was fresh with many options. The dining room located on the rooftop gave a wonderful view of the city and ocean.

    The staff were SO lovely. Location on the beach is great - but the main town is 15 minute drive away. Beach view room was good - wished we had more time to enjoy. Very easy ordering food and drink around the pool etc with a room tab. Accommodating with facilities when we had checked out of room - shower room available etc. Lovely chilled vibes.

    Ilheus is a small city.

    Ilheus is a small city. The central district is walkable and very enjoyable. There is an area a few blocks from the hotel with food trucks, ice cream shops and music. There is a wonderful area a couple of blocks north of the hotel for children to play. There is a Brazilian Churrascaria a couple blocks west from the hotel that had a great buffet with salads and grilled meats. It is only open until 3pm. It was very convenient to have small restaurants in the hotel building. Try the chocolate factory and Bom Bom factory. The South beach has many bars and great seafood.

    Ilhéus has a rich historical background, but the town feels...

    Ilhéus has a rich historical background, but the town feels neglected, with many historical buildings falling into disrepair. It’s not particularly touristic—more functional than charming. That said, there are some good bars and restaurants, and the centrally located airport is convenient. The beaches, while decent, don’t compare to the stunning ones in the surrounding region. It’s worth a short stop for its historical significance, but the lack of restoration is disappointing.

    Ilheus was always a sleepy town where one stopped on the way to somewhere else. Recently, however, it has invested a lot in improving its tourism infrastructure. Besides the beaches, the food and the music are also great.
