- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 847 reviewsAll of the staff was super friendly and we could see they were enjoying their job. The owners are new, and just got the place last April and did quite some renovations. There was a little bonfire at the place, very good atmosphere and stunning views over the ocean. Very colorful, comfortable and happy place, would definitely recommend staying here!Guest review bySaskiaNetherlands
- From $185.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 379 reviewsI stayed at Steve and Becky‘s across the street. Their sister property. As a solo traveler on a budget it was the perfect scenario for me. It’s so cute, clean, and great jungle Caribbean vibes. I got to use the amenities of Ramones, which was a dream. The location could not have been better. I had an amazing time.Guest review byChristineUnited States

Amazing little island of Belize. The water is amazing with its colors and such a diverse amount of sea life. The flat fishing is amazing!! Highly recommend Blue Bonefish Outfitters for any fishing there. Very skilled and knowledgeable. Many excellent food options from simple to fancy. Caye Caulker is an amazing place to experience the 'Go Slow' way of life! We enjoyed 4 nights there with our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teen boys), went spearfishing, swam with nurse sharks and sting rays, fed tarpon, waded with sting rays, hung out at The Split, and enjoyed amazing Belizean food all over the island. You can sleep in and go to bed early, and still not miss a thing. :)Guest review byAdriaUnited States - 6.0

I have to say, Belize City is my least favorite part of Belize. It's dusty and messy. Maybe I should've dug deeper into everything it can offer, but I only spent a few days there. I prefer all other areas of Belize over the city.Guest review byYolanda - 10.0

Crooked Tree is very small with rather rutted dirt roads but that is part of its charm. We loved eating at Carries Cafe which is only open Wed. -Sun and consists of a kitchen located in a garage with one table. The food was great. It is lovely to walk around and see all of the birds and farm life. We really enjoyed it here.Guest review bykateUnited States - 8.0

It is a rural village which has created a wonderful sanctuary for the howler monkeys. The whole town participates either by donating stretches of their land to make pathways for the monkeys or helping run the visitor center.Guest review byJaniceUnited States - 10.0

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay at Belize Resort and Spa! My husband and I came Labor Day weekend for a baby moon trip. To begin, Melanie was a sweetheart! She answered all of my questions quickly and helped us arrange everything we wanted to do, including airport transportation, local shopping, and the spa. The food was DELICIOUS and the plates had large portions. We even got to bring our dessert back to our room to relax and enjoy. The only other thing we wished we could have done was a tour or two, however being late into my pregnancy, this trip was more for relaxation. We enjoyed the couples mud massage which was relaxing and unique. We have so many pictures from our spa day. The pool was relaxing and made for a great backdrop for pictures as well. The room was clean and gave us an authentic feel during our stay in Belize. We will definitely visit again, making room to enjoy the tours next go around. Travel Tip: Don’t forget your bug spray! It is a jungle resort and the mosquitoes are merciless without it.Guest review byAlyssa - 6.0

What I liked most was its secret island, the only place where you can go to the beach in all of Belize. What I liked least was the people, they are not very friendly, they are rather unpleasant and not very communicative when it comes to helping travelers.Guest review byAlbertSpain - 8.0

Nice little island near Belize City, with many hotels and resorts, many good restaurants serving fresh seafood, especially Conch.and fish... I took a tour for US$50, snorkeling and swimming with the sharks!!! My new resort has a pool and a private beach. I plan to take a private taxi and tour the whole island... very windy in the afternoons.Guest review byvincentUnited States - 6.0

I love the restaurant Celebrity it's close to the Belize Museum on Regent street which was a former prison. The food is excellent. It's very easy to get around Belize city by taxi. We paid a taxi 10 BZ dollars to take us from the bus terminal to the Museum that's about 5 US. I called the chauffeur later on in the afternoon to take us to town and we were dropped at the park in the center of town. We walked around the park and sat on a chair under a tree, we visited the inner stores on Albert street. What I like about Belize, there are restrooms every where and the people are friendly. You can ask them anything they will help you out. We walked on the market on Saturday, got some hot bread by the bakery and coffee next door. I loved Altun Ha. Our guide was arranged by the guesthouse Casa de Shangri-La.Guest review byEdelstein
