- From $211.11 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 244 reviewsWe drove here in one day from the Boston area, and this fine lodging/restaurant alone made the whole trip worth while. Wow! Superb dinner served to us at 8:00PM restored us after the long drive. The room was super comfortable and stylishly appointed. We woke to a nice espresso served from their in-room machine, and we were served one of the finest breakfasts I've ever had.Guest review byScottUnited States

La Malbaie is a fascinating destination with accessibility to artists’ villages, fromageries, fabulous bakeries and superb terroir cuisine. Stunning views over the Saint Lawrence, wonderful walking trails at all levels. The artist village of Baie St. Paul is a must!Guest review byJaneCanada - 10.0

There's not much here, but for a 2-night stay it was perfect, centered between La Malbaie, Tadoussac and most importantly, L'Anse St Jean which was our jump off point for a fjord/whale cruise/tour. Take a minute to sit at the quai at Port-au-Persil. Just a beautiful place and you might even see belugas if lucky. We were close enough to be able to go to both Tadoussace and to La Malbaie for supper. A stop at the Fromagerie St-Fidèle is worth your time... fresh curds, every day!Guest review byBryan HortonCanada - 10.0

What we liked most was the location (close to whale watching departure point in Baie-Saint-Catherine), the cleanliness of the place (rooms, kitchen and lounge), the genuine kindness and helpfulness of the hosts. Although we enjoyed the breakfast, it was on the sweet side (it would be nice with some protein options ie. hard boiled eggs, cheese, and non-canned fruit options),Guest review byAngelaDenmark - 10.0
The best holiday home we have ever booked in Canada.
The best holiday home we have ever booked in Canada. Very new (09/23) , absolute clean and with all comfort you need. (Sauna, Hamman Jacuzzi). Complete , well equipped kitchen. ( we loved to cook by ourself) Very private (in the woods), but with nice view from the terrasse (Lorence River) and only a close ride (15 minutes by car ) to next village to buy whatever you need for own cooking ... or to go for external cafe or dinner. We spent perfect 3 days enjoying every day and evening - relaxing after our daily tours - and would have spend longer if we would have time to do. This "Tiny house" is an absolute recommendation !!!Guest review byMartin (Dachau)Germany - 10.0

The island has a small population, few cars, and is perfect for cyclists. A scenic road hugs the coastline all the way around, offering plenty of spots to stop and enjoy stunning views. Getting around is simple, even on foot. I highly recommend La Boulangerie Bouchard for fresh baked goods, breakfast, snacks, or lunch. They have outdoor tables with stunning views of the St. Lawrence River and the mountains of Les Éboulements.Guest review byLaszloCanada - 10.0

We received over 60 cms of snow within 48 hours of our stay so we enjoyed fabulous downhill skiing and the 7.5 km sledding course at Le Massif, as well as cross country skiing and snow shoeing at Sentier des Caps, Beautiful scenery and lots of birds!Guest review byLisaCanada - 10.0

This was my first stay at this hotel and I really enjoyed it! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. My only regret is that I only stayed for one night and didn’t book a room with a view of the river — something I’ll definitely do next time!Guest review byVioletaCanada - 8.0
Nice and quiet little village.
Nice and quiet little village. The only thing that gets me everytime is that basically all the restaurants are closed as of 9pm so don’t arrive there late if you haven’t eaten. Otherwise amazing cute little town.Guest review byJan-LouisCanada - 6.0
The cottage was cute, with upstairs loft bedroom.
The cottage was cute, with upstairs loft bedroom. It was too close to ferry. Restaurant was awful. Someone just walked into our cottage in the middle of the afternoon; on another day, someone was peering in our window. If you miss the ferry, you have to wait 4 hrs in a town with nothing to do, hence going to "explore" cottages., while people are staying there. If you want to do anything "exciting", you have to go back to Quebec City or go to Tadoussac. NOTHING TO DO IN ST-SIMEONGuest review byLouiseCanada
