If you like wine, golf, boating, hiking or chilling all day...
If you like wine, golf, boating, hiking or chilling all day with spectacular views, Kelowna is the place to be! Crown and thieves winery is one of my favourite spots, amazing wine, great laid back vibe and best views of the lake and KelownaGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The north end of Penticton, has wonderful walking paths along the lake and beautiful views up the lake. The paths have lots of benches along them for enjoying various views. The main downtown is easily walkable and there are some interesting shops on Main Street and Front Street. Petrasek Bakery has marvellous pastries and coffee. The used bookstore in the 200 block is one of the best ever!Guest review byFrancaCanada - 10.0

The downtown Home Hardware Store.
The downtown Home Hardware Store. This store is something from the long past, a half upper floor and a lower floor which has been in the hands of two families for well over 70 years. You need to spend a few hours just taking in what are REAL hardware store should offer--everything ever needed and more! It is unique and a solid family run store with very helpful employees, many likely over 65. Young or old, they have so much knowledge that you can easily spend 20 minutes just talking to them, the atmosphere is so relaxed. You can see, they love working there. It is a must see location.Guest review byStefanovCanada - 10.0
Great Host & Hostess. Very comfortable accommodation.
Great Host & Hostess. Very comfortable accommodation. Had our own livingroom & kitchen area and great patio to enjoy some coffee or wine. Excellent breakfast selection every day with Suzana being an excellent chef. Both Suzana & Allen make us welcome and often suggested things to do or explore.Guest review byCharlesCanada - 10.0
Oliver is a small working town not a tourist town.
Oliver is a small working town not a tourist town. Typical small interior BC town. Great location for touring the wineries in the lower Okanagan. Great many, very good wineries nearby, 5 to 10 minutes drive. Check out Black Sage road. Wineries to visit, Domaine Artema, Bartier bros, Church and State, Burrowing Owl, See Ya Later Ranch (OK Falls) and dozen others. 15 minutes to Osoyoos, 30 minutes to Penticton. Nice little lake and park. Quiet as it closes up early, 9 pm. Good basic diners and couple pubs. Great, very authentic Mexican cantina.Guest review bySandersCanada - 2.0

I will say thay the young man at the front desk was very friendly but the room we had originally paid for, smelt really bad, Front desk gave us another room but not what we paid for as we booked a kingsize and were given 2 queens with a kitchenette, as that was the last one available. Room smelt like old cooked food.Carpets and chairs were stained and dirty. Mug for coffee was visibly dirty. Tub drain was caked with mould and scum. Bed sheets were clean. All in all ,probably one of the most unpleasant stays we have ever had.Guest review byLynneCanada - 8.0

The town is just 5 to 7 miles north of Penticton and 35-40 minutes south of Kelowna. It is convenient, especially to those wanting to be in close proximity to Penticton. There are several wineries close to Summerland and fruit and vegetables stands ( of course the latter in the summer months). Summerland also has bike trails that enable one to ride to ODore Lake and Princeton. Those wanting to ride horses will also enjoy (and share) the bike trail that runs parallel to the Kettle Valley rail.Guest review byRobertoUnited States - 10.0
Alfonso and Michelle are wonderful people.
Alfonso and Michelle are wonderful people. They treated us so well. From check-in to check-out we were so well looked after. We showered one morning and then walked across the hall for a top notch spa treatment. Michelle's spa room was so clean. I have had many facials but hers was one of the best. Our room was pristine with the best lighting and every amenity a five star hotel could offer! We rented the E-bikes and had a blast. We met friends of Alfonso and Michelle in the common room downstairs. Just felt so welcome. We have recommended this B&B to all our friends and we will be back! Thanks Alfonso and Michelle!Guest review byMary AnnCanada - 10.0
Naramata is better than Napa Valley in California.
Naramata is better than Napa Valley in California. In addition to wineries there are excellent restaurants with beautiful views. While Napa may have better wines, especially reds, only Naramata has the scenery and many things to see and do other than eat and drink. Kelowna and Oliver are not far away and these also have great restaurants and wineries to visit. The only disadvantage to Naramata is the lack of good restaurants that are open in the evenings, Monday through Wednesday, although Penticton restaurants are open.Guest review byGerhardCanada
