- From $152.66 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,056 reviewsVery nice facilities. Restaurant and bar area are very nice. The lounge area is a nice place to enjoy a beverage. The staff in every area are very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, roomy, water view, very comfortable bed. Open the window to enjoy the sound of the water lapping on shore. A balcony room would have been even better. Outdoor seating area on the beach was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee. Ask about an evening fire. Breakfast was very nice and the service friendly. Definitely recommendGuest review byTinaUnited States

We used Montreal, as a base.
We used Montreal, as a base. We are not normally city people, But I must say that our visit was lovely.. We visited the Parc Jean-Drapeau, The Botanical Gardens and also we went to Mount Royal which was just behind our accommodation. The people in the city were very helpful, and very friendly, especially when we tried to use the public transport. We also took a day trip to Quebec, there was several companies that offered this...Tourist information was also very helpful...Guest review byGilbert - 10.0
Quebec City is a beautiful and unique travel destination...
Quebec City is a beautiful and unique travel destination rich in history. I enjoyed a walking tour that helped orient me in the area, but I was a bit disappointed as the tour guide didn't always provide accurate information about Quebec's history or its indigenous population. For example, Christopher Columbus never set foot in Canada, never mind Quebec. After a few days, I found myself wishing I had rented a car to explore areas outside of downtown. I wanted to see more than just the main sights. While bus tours cover some attractions, they tend to focus on the most popular spots, which can feel a bit touristy and lacking in authenticity. Like many high-traffic tourist areas, Quebec City has an over abundance of souvenir shops and overpriced stores. I also recommend avoiding daytime visits when cruise ships are in port; as downtown gets overcrowded, reminiscent of a jam packed day at Disneyland. Overall, the city's charm and beauty do make it worth a visit.Guest review bySue InmanUnited States - 10.0

The village was absolutely beautiful. The weather was great. However, the hotel staff upon arrival were unfriendly. They did not provide information as to opening hours of the pool gym.And when you ask them questions, it seemed that you were bothering them.Same with the lifeguard at the pool, I walked in with my coffee one morning, and he really yelled at me actually told me that because it's glass, I need to get out right now. He actually got in my face in a threatening manner, I was never scolded before by a lifeguard. In addition, the pool was full of bugs.I had my daughter get out of the pool because they were not cleaning it sufficiently with a net to remove the bugs. I reserved the two bedroom suite, extremely high priced.I would have expected a little more service and care. The bathrooms were clean. The beds were comfortable and the view was nice. But that's the extent of my positive experience at that hotel. The rest unfortunately was subpar for r what I was expecting. I've stayed in 2 other hotels in the same village. And the experience was far less in this particular hotel.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Hotel was brilliant!
Hotel was brilliant! Reception staff were amazingly helpful, the room was bright and clean and had everything we needed. Our evening meal in the restaurant was superb and we opted for the buffet breakfast in the morning, which was good. The free shuttle to the airport was also really useful. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to try out the pool. There is a VIA train station right by the hotel.Guest review byCathyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lots of cute coffee places and restaurants within easy walking distance, altho there are some hills. Whale watch with AML was fun. Whale museum was informative. Light hikes/ walks along the shoreline. If you take the bus, note there are no taxis in town to go to the hillside bus stop. You can walk, but it might be too strenuous for some. There may be others but I am only sure that a shuttle is offered to guests of the historic Hotel Tadoussac. Really enjoyed coffee on the sunny porch of Abri Côtier, very close to Hotel Tadoussac. Food was good at Chez Mathilde and there was music the night I went. Cafe Bohème had a good mussel/frites dish. Located next door to the only supermarket I found. Cooler in Tadoussac than in Quebec City.Guest review byJulieUnited States - 6.0
I love Gatineau, it was my childhood home.
I love Gatineau, it was my childhood home. It is very beautiful, however, with all the construction, long weekend traffic & Ironman rally detours unbeknownst to us tourists, plus a couple fender benders, traffic was horrific for getting around.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The Cape Shrine is a beautiful and tranqualizing pilgreamge place. The Le Temps D'une Pinte is a good place to finish the day with good food, good local beers, and good service. Unfortunately and fortunately, we expereinced the first snow of the year and so could not go on foot to enjoy the history of the buildings in the downtown area, but then the snow added the beauty to the city.Guest review byLOUIS YAN HINHong Kong - 10.0
