- From US$540.28 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,169 reviewsWe stayed in Baker Creek as a family with 2 kids. Our stay was quite comfortable. The kitchen is relatively well equipped, the coffee is very tasty. The beds are comfortable. All windows and a balcony door have mosquito net. The nature around the hotel is wonderful. You see at least one squirrel whenever you leave the house, they are literally everywhere in the resort. I don't understand the complaints about Wi-Fi. It worked very well in our house during our stay. It was very handy due to the absence of mobile connection. The shop has all the basic supplies and the hot dog was very tasty, according to my son. They have one washer and one dryer for shared use.Guest review byKseniaSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,214 reviewsWe loved our room that was right on the lake with a gorgeous view. The fireplace and chairs were so cosy and we loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying the stillness and serenity. It must be the best hotel in the area and at a very reasonable price for the outstanding quality. The staff were completely professional and friendly, and we enjoyed some beautiful cocktails at the bar, and excellent quality food in the restaurant. The room was cosy, comfortable, and private.Guest review byAmandaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 169 reviewsApartment was spacious, comfortable and welcoming. Luc (the host/owner) was very helpful and was also proactive in reaching out to us and letting us know about the neighbourhood. He told me about the resident bears in Field and sure enough I saw them the next day!Guest review byBenjaminUnited States

I paid nearly $800 per night expecting a quiet, nature-focused stay, as advertised on the hotel’s website. Instead, I was first given a noisy room, and then moved to another that smelled strongly of bleach and had a broken window. Despite my allergy, no alternative room was offered. The bleach fumes caused severe headaches that required painkillers, and by the second day, ants had entered the room. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and far from worth the price.Guest review byMaryamUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Central location to tourist attractions.
Central location to tourist attractions. Small quiet small residential town on trans Canada highway. Great pub in town to walk to and eat at evenings. Has interesting train history. Away from the crowds at Lake Louise.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The Lake access can be difficult due to the massive crowds Lake Louise, such that hundreds of people walk 1-2 miles uphill just to get to the lake, because parking lot is full by 8:00 AM. There is a reason for this - possibly the most beautiful mountain setting on earth, with dozens of iconic hikes within minutes of the area.Guest review byCJ LangUnited States - 10.0

Field is a small, quiet, town just off the Trans Canadian Highway. It has a few shops and an Inn which serves food. There are spectacular mountains on both sides of the valley with a beautiful river running through it. There is a railway line running parallel to the road and it was fascinating to watch the long trains passing through.Guest review byHelenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

As someone who visited Lake Louise in 2007 the experience was different at that time we could drive right up to the hotel and that makes it a difficult for people with disabilities. The lake is still just as beautiful as it was back in 2007 also we felt That it would be a good experience to be able to walk through your fabulous Fairmont hotel, which we were unable to do this time.Guest review byCarlosUnited States - 6.0

I stayed at Cathedral Mountain Lodge because it was the closest place to Lake O’Hara. I had managed to win a much coveted bus ticket, and this was the perfect place to stay the night before. Absolutely loved staying at the lodge, views of mountains all around. The only thing I don’t like about this area is the highway. People drive way too fast, it’s sometimes quite scary!Guest review byShirleyUnited Kingdom
