The hotel’s design was really nice, stylish and consistent across every room. The attention to little details was amazing. There was a really spacious and comfortable library room for both reading and working if needed. There was even a sauna (although i haven’t tried yet). I like the separation between bathroom and shower room. All products used within the facility were good quality. The staff were super friendly and helpful. And the food at eater attached to the hotel was very delicious (for all dinner, breakfast and even late night snacks).

Really a great hotel at the location close to the city center, but not noisy. The room was nice and clean, bathroom could've been a bit bigger though.

The location of the hotel is great to move around: walking distance from the old town and near some of the main transport hubs. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was good: not a lot of things, but everything was top quality, particularly the yogurts, bakery and cheese. Above all, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us during our stay in Basel.

It was a great location. Walked from train station and went for the Christmas market,which was very close. Hotel for comfortable and quiet and breakfast was fabulous. The biggest croissants I have ever seen. Great selection of food and cooked to order omelettes. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This was one of our favourite hotels to go to with our children while we were in Europe for 3 weeks. Wish we stayed here longer. The room had a great view just to the side of the river and they have everything you need while traveling with 2 young children! Our kids loved the toys they had set up for them. The single room and its bed are both pretty generously sized, comfortable, and immaculate. The staff at both reception and the restaurant could not have been more accommodating. A great base to have when exploring Switzerland.
A great base to have when exploring Switzerland. Basel is full of history and has one of the best local history museums I've seen. One could spend the whole day in the Basel Historical Museum. From the Bronze Age to modern times, this place has it.
Various restaurants and all types of shopping dot the Old Town area. The transportation system(city trams and trains) is on time and efficient. We explored Zermatt and Lucerne, while keeping a base in Basel. The international airport has easy access from downtown.

Basel is a very nice city and definitely worth visiting. Make sure to hire a bike, go along the Rhine and visit 3 countries in just a couple of hours. The Markthalle is a must. However, everything is pricey.

I realised Basel was expensive compared with UK but I found supermarket food and juice was ok especially smoked salmon. Trams and trains very frequent and on time. Early October but dry and blue sky every day. Streets were very clean.
