Unexpectedly good hotel (for this price in Switzerland) with an amazing wellness area right on the lake Luzern. Breakfast is great. Rooms are a bit small, but very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there and even decided to come back few nights later. Charger for e-cars for a very good price (two stations at the parking lot).

Mario gave us extremely warm welcome when we checkin, and the thorough experience of our stay was so beyond expectation： Our room was next to the room where President Bush stayed. It had a big window facing the lake which allowed us to oberserve the double rainbow appeared in the early morning. Strongly recommend everyone who comes to Brunnen to stay here, especially the lake side room.

A very lovely and cozy hotel with a warm, homely atmosphere. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. Check-in was smooth and easy — we arrived very late, but the hotel staff had everything prepared for us: a parking spot was reserved, the key was left for us, and we were given clear instructions on where to find it. The staff were all very kind and polite. We truly felt welcome and comfortable here, and would happily come back!

    Gorgeous city, extremely clean, and wonderfully kind culture. The food is fantastic and the language is beautiful. We brought our small children of 5 and 7 and the Swiss culture is very family oriented and children friendly, often prioritizing to ensure they are entertained at meals with crayons and coloring paper. The scenery is unlike anything you will ever see and the beauty is indescribable. So many places to visit and things to do. Not to mention the transportation methods are extremely convenient and free so long as the tax is paid within the city.

    Beautiful town and lots of activities to do. We enjoyed in Trubsee and Furenalp. We regret of staying only for 2 days. Best to stay at least 5 days or a week. Good food everywhere. Coop is also there if you want to cook. They have good meats at the butcher. Easy to get around.

    The light in the bathroom is not bright enough to do makeup at the nice mirror provided. The noises from the restaurant below could be heard, but wasnt too loud. Garbage disposal was problematic and inconvient.

    Zug is a modern town that relies on international business and international visitors... Generally people are friendly and very family orientated, you may occasionally find the odd old 'grumpy' , wealthy swiss person that will correct your German grammar or look down their nose at you... But apart from this it's hard to fault this lakeside town. The old town is stunning and the restaurants and bars are truly special. The lake is stunning and the mountainous backdrop is truly beautiful. My daughter loved the open pedestrian friendly streets and apart from the high prices it's a great place to live/ work or visit especially for families and slightly older people.

    Ok so, Weggis is a beautiful little village but that is also it's problem, it's a little village. Activities were limited and so were the restaurants. I would recommended staying there as a "base" but then exploring the surrounding attractions.

    Sursee is a stunningly beautiful town with charming old houses, a picturesque Old Town, excellent restaurants, a castle, a creek, and nearby lake. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.     I love Einsiedeln,because it is such a lovely village with the Mountains and SIHLSEE. It has beautiful little shops, good restaurants and coffee places with their own roastery. The only problem is with Taxi cars: none available at the centralstation,when one arrives by train. How come?? My favourite place was the MONASTERY, walking around through KLOSTERWALD and the horses there.Another nice walk to SIHLSEE. There is MIGROS with affordable food to buy and their restaurant,which serves good meals. Good connections by train and bus. And the annual Christmas market infront of the monastery is just wonderful.

    Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps.

    Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps. You get their only with the steepest funicular of the world, no cars in the village. During the summer season this village only attracts people for the famous (and very overcrowded by Instagrammers and Tiktokkers) Stoos ridge hike. It is amazing and has great views but you walk in line the whole way unless you are willing to really take the 1st chairlift up there. I am sure there are as nice hikes but less crowded ridge hikes in Switzerland. It was a reminder for us to never take travel tips from social media.

The view from the top of the mountain is even better than from the hotel, amenities include boat trips through the lake, a golf course on top of the mountain and a sky station next to the town.
