Excellent location, near the railway station and directly on a crossroad of numerous hiking trails - ideal for hiking in Jura. Spacious room and bathroom. Very good sound insulation when windows are closed - we had our room facing the main street, but heard no noise at all. Clean. Helpful and welcoming staff - they speak no English, but some has enough German, so communication was good overall. Room settings are basic, but sufficient. Hotel's restaurant is also very simple, but the prices reflect this, so OK. Overall reasonable price/value ratio. Despite some shortcomings, we come again.

The location was great for me and I didn‘t have many complaints
The cleanliness; the huge comfortable well bedroom with excellent linen and good quality towels. The warm, friendly staff; the location right by the old town! A lot of people have criticised the buffet beeakfast and decor, but the buffet breakfast is constantly refreshed during the service and the receptionist is right next door if anything runs out or if any clients need a hand. No one need fear going hungry! The decor is a little somber, but well maintained and spotlessly clean!

We have been there a few times and there have been continuous improvement on the hotel.
The room was spacious and nicely decorated with all the necessary amenities. Very comfortable and bright with quite a large bathroom. Compared to equivalent rooms in swiss towns, this was well over top and more so being in Saignelégier.
The couple running the place is very lovely and helpful.
Really a great place to stay in Saignelégier.

Charming hotel with authentic furniture, large bathrooms, an excellent location both silent and close to the center of beautiful Porrentruy. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who lives on premise. Delicious home made breakfast.
Large recently refurbished room provided after initially being given a twin room.
Decent sized room
Location on edge of town. Car park felt safe for leaving our motorcycles.

We only stayed overnight and didn't do any visits, because we were on our way home from holidays in Italy. So we can't really comment on Porrentruy, we only drove through it, but it looked like a nice small town.

The location was excellent.
The location was excellent. The village is very attractive, and is well served by public transport. It's accessible and a great base for walking.
The disappointment was that everywhere to eat in the evening was OK, but not special.

Porrentruy is a small history city in a far-flung corner of Switzerland which has put a lot of resources in renovation and upgrading over the last 20 years. And they are still at it. Just recently, the main street was repaved with cobblestones. There are a castle, loads of beautiful historic buildings in the centre and extravagant turn-of-the century villas in the closer outskirts of town.
Porrentruy has become a very loveable small town in Switzerland. with an unusual number of bars and restaurants, some of which are surprisingly lively for such a small town.
Porrentruy makes for a great base to explore the Jura region!
