Porrentruy is a small history city in a far-flung corner of Switzerland which has put a lot of resources in renovation and upgrading over the last 20 years. And they are still at it. Just recently, the main street was repaved with cobblestones. There are a castle, loads of beautiful historic buildings in the centre and extravagant turn-of-the century villas in the closer outskirts of town. Porrentruy has become a very loveable small town in Switzerland. with an unusual number of bars and restaurants, some of which are surprisingly lively for such a small town. Porrentruy makes for a great base to explore the Jura region!Guest review byOliverSwitzerland
