The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would really like ti mention Mr. Raul’s name for his commendable hospitality. We did had an early check in which he did it with very smooth process and we also did have a free upgrade from hotel. The service did exceeded my expectations. I would rate this hotel as 5/5 for his friendly and kind staff.

Spacious, easy to access, didn't see the staff because we came late but they let us check in without seeing anyone. Was very practical. Free parking, too.

The staff were very friendly, especially the male who I assume is your manager when I arrived. The location was fantastic, and I loved the outdoor setting at the back with the views- just stunning

We stayed two nights end of November and booked a spacious quadruple room on the 3rd floor, which had a mountain view and side view on the castle. Everything was perfect: 1) Very close to the center of the village (there are only a few hotels in such proximity to Gruyeres and Hotel de Gruyeres is the most affordable); 2) hotel is located on the hill, so you do not have to go up from public parking P1, P2 or P3; 3) private parking with 9 places and a couple of places for motorbikes (free of charge); 4) if private parking is full, the car can be parked on P1, P2 or P3 for 10 CHF per day or free of charge between 18:00 and 8:00; 5) room is equipped with a fridge, kettle, safe; 6) fabulous fresh breakfast with a lot of choices; 7) very friendly ladies on reception; 8) wellness center with sauna and hammam (can be booked and ready for use in one hour of heating) and small gym (well equipped); 9) restaurant with a terrace outside with an amazing view; 10) 5 min to the cheese factory and 15 min to chocolate factory by car.
