We stayed here in 2022 and now again in 2023...and this is still one of those really great unique hotels...top of the Grimsel Pass in central Switzerland...the weather determines everything...one moment thick cloud and then a stunning view..thats the Alps for you. We had a great terrace overlooking the lake ...the room is huge...the bed as comfy as comfy land...lots of hanging space and spotlessly clean....

    We had a wonderful stay in Apartment Werlen! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect – quiet, with stunning mountain views, and just a short walk to the village. Our host was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel truly welcome.     It should be mentioned that the Hotel is in the middle of a typical narrow Village in Wallis and that there is no Parking right beside or in front of the house. On the other hand this makes it special and lets you get the feeling of the place.
