- From US$249.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 5,320 reviewsOh again in Montreux and of course in Eurotel, there is no other hotel I'd like to stay. Fantastic location, perfect view from your room. Very nice and helpful staff especially a lady who was at the reception on our arrival. This time we came a little bit late directly from Val Thorens after skiing but She said that we can go to the sauna to relax after skiing day and journey. Thank you so much it was great. Hotel, which is my age, is still renovated and this time restaurant where usually we had breakfast was closed for renovation. So it was no impressive view on lake and Alps having breakfast, but breakfast was organized in one of the conference hall and everything was perfect as usual. Service , food, and ambiance. Thak you for your hospitality. See you soon Best regards!Guest review byPawelPoland
- From US$145.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,099 reviewsIt was so conveniently located in the old town and the 206 bus which you can’t eke directly out from the railway station drops you outside the door. Stefan was so helpful and for a poor French speaker like myself he spoke impeccable English and was a brilliant host. We spent a lot of time in markets for Xmas so didn’t eat at Hotel but the layout and atmosphere looked relaxing. The room was clean and well set out and I loved the wide opening window It’s a small room but the layout is clever use of space The heavy duty doors and stone walls mean it’s a quiet room and blocks out other people’s noise I will be going back for sureGuest review byLouiseUnited Kingdom
- From US$270.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,928 reviewsThe room and bathroom were very big, and clean. Excellent view of the lake and the mountains, with chairs and a little table to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy it to the fullest. Unbeatable location, right on the promenade, 10 minutes away from the train station, and close to supermarkets and a shopping centre. Great service, with full amenities available in the room - toiletries, towels, slippers, bathrobe, minifridge. Also the Belle Époque architecture is really stunning, so that's a plus if you enjoy that sort of thing!Guest review byMariaRomania

Fabulous spa and indoor lap pool, jacuzzi, sauna ie Hammam with lounges both indoor and outdoor. A terrace with tent-umbrellas for breakfast, lunch or cocktails/ aperitif is divine. Montreux is a beautiful town, located on Lake Geneva, surrounded by mountains. Great dining, lovely flower lined promenade stretching for several kilometres along the lakeside. Great train services to many parts of Switzerland, especially the Golden Pass Express, which runs between Montreux and Interlaken, travelling through amazing landscapes, Special mention if you are a Queen fan is the Freddie Tour, which is an amazing tour and commentary about the time that Freddie Mercury and the band spent in Montreux's Mountain Studios, and the town, visiting locations where they hung out, and learning a true insight to Freddie. Will certainly return to this fabulous town.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

beautiful, tranquil town of Vevey is a pleasure to visit- we landed in Geneva and drove to Vevey that morning and we just loved our visit. We could have stayed much longer. Terrific restaurants, the village and shopping and walking the lake - just wonderful.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
A lovely little town in a superb Alpine setting.
A lovely little town in a superb Alpine setting. Outside often the loudest sound is the distant clangour of cow bells. Everyone there is really friendly, there are good options to eat out, the local trains give access to some great places, and if you stay more than one night (I think) you get a Pays d’en Haut discount card for reduced entry to various places (including the wonderful L’Etivaz cheese cellars) and free travel on local trains and buses.Guest review byAndrewAustralia - 10.0
The Community of Veytaux is at an excellent location towards...
The Community of Veytaux is at an excellent location towards the east end of the Lake of Geneva. Although the community is small, you can do a lot from here. The Chateau Chillon is in the political community of Veytaux. The chateau is impressive; and its visitors can learn a lot about the history of this region of Switzerland. Further east, you can visit Villeneuve and can take a steamer boat cruise on the Lake of Geneva. - The Swiss Train Pass helps to save a lot of money when you use the trains, the boats, the gondolas, the busses, etc. throughout the country. West of Veytaux is Montreux. You can enjoy the lovely community of Montreux alongside the lake, go up the Roches de Naye and enjoy the beautiful view over the Lake of Geneva, take trains in diverse directions (e.g., Gruyère, for the cheese factory tour, maybe combined with a tour at the chocolate factory of Caillier, the Golden Express yo Interlaken, etc.). If you like train traveling, you can easily travel to Geneva and see the old town, visit the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, go up to Brig and see its old town or visit Briggerbad and its thermal bath and waterpark, or even go up to Zermatt if your an early bird and go upon the Gornergrat or up on the Small Matterhorn. Veytaux is a place to stay at and see; and, it can "base camp" to see many more places in the greater region. Just have the right train pass so that you can easily use the public transport network and comfortably travel to different sites of interest. Eating out and enjoying your companionship while being served a good meal is possible as well.Guest review byReneCanada - 10.0
Carry a map/guide when visiting places of interest / shops.
Carry a map/guide when visiting places of interest / shops. It's easier to get around with a friend and to travel with a taxi. Trains are available, but mostly when visiting areas nearby or larger locations. If you are not used to a cool to cold climate, take some warm clothes, especially if you are going to go hiking up the mountains - it can get pretty cold. Nearby attractions include Gruyères Castle, Gstaad, Glacier 3000 and especially Vevey, the closest area where you can experience Lake Geneva.Guest review bychintanpatelSouth Africa - 10.0
We Loved our stay there ❤️
We Loved our stay there ❤️ The castle was an extraordinary experience. It brings us out of our common sense place. Wonderful view at front side terrace of big tower, we enjoyed our evenings there. Peaceful morning breakfast at our back terrace, surrounded by trees, perfect place for morning yoga meditations. Beautiful room, large, a kitchen supported staying longer at the place. A nice table inside was great for the rainy days.Guest review byYaraBrazil - 10.0
Great location to explore the Swiss Alps.
Great location to explore the Swiss Alps. Magnificent scenery, "a postcard at every turn!" We visited in early December and they had had snow. Would definitely recommend a trip on the Mont Blanc express to Chamonix. As well as a trip to Glacier 3000, both offering stunning views of the Alps. A car is a must to appreciate the location.Guest review byPaulAustralia - 10.0

While my wife took part in dancing courses, I hiked in the nearby mountains and along the Sarine river. Chateau-d'Oex is easy to reach by public transport. The views are great. There are various nice restaurants.Guest review byHubertusSwitzerland
