The location is fabulous. It’s in a small village with emphasis on outdoor activity, an idyllic lake with an interesting walk and only a short distance to the reed cave. The staff is very friendly and keen to help whenever possible. Michelle’s English is very good!

Amazing experience! Room was spacious while still feeling cozy, and outfitted with great decor. Our host was phenomenal, going to the lengths of organising mopeds for us to use around the town, delivering coffee to our room, and giving us discounts on local attractions, not to mention organised transport to and from the train station. Included breakfast was yummy and varied daily. Overall 10/10 hotel.

Everything was great! To be honest, it felt more like a homestay (in a good way) because the staff was so welcoming and helpful! Some of them only speak Chinese but Melody speaks English fluently, so I never had any issues because of the language barrier. She organized all my transfers and even told the driver to help me find my boat. I had the room on the top floor and I would definitely recommend staying there. It's a bit higher than the other buildings, so I felt comfortable leaving my panoramic windows open to enjoy the view. Btw, the room looked the same as in the pictures, so I didn't have to adjust my expectations to reality. There was a lot of natural light and I really liked the design - some traditional Chinese elements with a modern twist. It was exceptionally clean and the bed was soft (if you live in China you know why I needed to mention that). I could only have their proper breakfast once because I would leave too early, but that one time their noodles were top-notch. And on the days when I couldn't have breakfast they would always prepare something I could take with me and it was delicious, too. I especially appreciated that there were always some fruits. Lastly, I'd like to mention the massage you can get there. From what I understood it's the same price everywhere because I saw the exact same paper with all the types of massage at a different hotel. I got the oil massage and I cannot recommend it enough. Overall, the people the hotel works with are great, too.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at an Bonjour boutique Hotel and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the delicious halal cuisine to the comfortable accommodation, friendly staff, and exceptional service, every aspect of my stay left me thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the mouthwatering halal meals (they prepared especially according to our culture)provided in the morning.The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that each meal was not only prepared with love and care but also represented the rich flavors of authentic Arab cuisine. The variety of dishes offered was extensive, catering to different preferences and dietary requirements. Each meal was a culinary delight that I savored to the last bite. Moving on to the accommodation, the rooms were well-furnished and thoughtfully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the comfortable bedding to the tasteful decor that reflected the local culture. The cleanliness was impeccable, which significantly contributed to the overall comfort and relaxation during my stay. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff deserve special mention. The entire team was not only friendly and warm but also genuinely dedicated to making our stay as pleasant as possible. Their readiness to assist in any way they could, whether it was arranging transportation, suggesting local attractions, or answering our queries, made us feel truly valued and pampered throughout our stay. It was evident that the staff's top priority was ensuring our satisfaction and creating a memorable experience for guests. Aside from the wonderful amenities and outstanding service.The hotel is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it provided the perfect respite from the daily grind. The property was located very nicely in a little village within the city. The rooms themselves were beautifully decorated with good beds, a great bathroom. Who impressed most was the host!     We had an amazing stay at Li Rive Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Flora and the rest of the staff, who were incredibly helpful, attentive, and always available to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The area around the resort is peaceful and beautiful – perfect for relaxation. We truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay, and we would gladly return. A big thank you to Flora and the team for a fantastic experience!

    This is a phenomenal Hotel. The staff is fantastic and the rooms are clean and comfy and everything works well. The location is a moderate walk to downtown but it's also right next to a very vibrant strip of restaurants and the like. You definitely don't feel like you're living in a tourist area but you're instead of getting to see daily life all around you. At the hotel itself everything was so smooth and they even give you about your for a free coffee. It was great to see it by the river in the morning.

    I have beeb to the secret garden now a few times over the last 10 years or so. Yanshuo and yulong river area have changed heaps over the years, here i still find peace and quiet. Villagers were planting rice. The locals gather at the river in the evening to cool down. On an electric scooter you can easily explore les touristy areas. The staff was really helpful. The western treats at restaurant made my day.

    The setting is perfect, overlooking the river and nestled below karst mountains. Walking and riding bikes along the river straight from the hotel parking lot was a bonus. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It felt so homey and comfortable - we loved it. We appreciated the ecological mindset and practices. The fire in the lounge was a blessing after a night out at Impressions LiuSanJie!

    The view is superb!

    The view is superb! I have never seen anything like this in my life. The locals are kind and ready to help. Very safe to travel by family or alone. It's best to spend a week there and explore the region by renting a local electric scooter . But some point of interests are far apart and required to travel by boat so if you can't be bothered, make sure to have your local tour guide to help.

    Nanning is a beautiful city.

    Nanning is a beautiful city. We enjoyed an evening exploring the streets around the hotel even though there were quite a large roadwork project going on. We only spent one full day in the city to fit in at the end of our 15 day visa free viit to China. Qinxiushan scenic area is quite stunning and a beauitiful place requiring a full day to fully appreciate. There is a lot more to see in and around Nanning so we may need to return one day!

    UNESCO site. Beautiful landscapes. wear proper hiking waterproof shoes. Raincoat for rainy days in March. plan to spend at least 2 nights. book rides with the Hotel to facilitate the arrival process...visitors have to pay entrance fee to the Ping On village. there is a ticket office and security gate for this purpose. travel light and enjoy its natural beauty.

    Something important to mention is that the map location on booking.com didn't correspond with the actual location of the hotel I stayed in! so this is something to double check and rectify! Beihai old town was fantastic and shopping for pearls and eating out was wonderful-there are beautiful souvenirs, great food and architecture and it is the best place to buy pearls (bracelets, rings, necklaces, broaches etc...) A trip to the nearby Weizhou island is quite the treat but the actual beaches in Beihai seem to get way too/ridiculously crowded in the Summer and seem to be in a state of development with lots of construction taking place next to them!

    Lao Dongjiang rice noodles are very close, highly recommended, they have local flavors that locals like to eat. This street is a street I visited, Shijiayuan Road, there are many snacks, etc. Opposite the hotel is Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which is very suitable for walking and taking pictures. It is beautiful during the day and even more beautiful at night.

    It’s the provincial capital of Guangxi Autonomous Region so...

    It’s the provincial capital of Guangxi Autonomous Region so there’s a lot economic and social activity going around. Lots of entertainment venues and good infrastructure and transportation services to navigate around the city. Just remember to keep some loose change if you’re taking the bus since the phone payment systems only work for Chinese citizens.

    Beautiful, underrated, I should have stayed one more night. It was very easy to get around and the entire village at Ping'an has English and Chinese signage all on farming/hiking trails. I can't believe how empty the village is and part of me is concerned that not enough tourists are visiting even though I loved the serenity of it. Many stores/hotels were empty or closed, perhaps due to COVID-19.

    guilin is a famous tourist attraction, things to do include a river cruise, visits of the rice terraces, tea plantation, seven star park, or a river walk around sun&moon twin. might be rather crowded in high tourist season. be aware of the e-scooters, which are just everywhere and don't follow the traffic rules. besides this, it's save to walk, also on ones own, even at night. if you don't speak chinese, find a travel guide, who makes the booking and organises the tickets for you.
