Liaoje metro station in front of hotel , just 1 minute walk, pedestrian street is there also. all is clean and the room look new. everything is great except one of a lady in reception who cannot speak cantonese, she is not friendly and don't care about what customer say. cleaning staff very cute and polite to us. I loved the location, less than 10 minutes walking from Shekou Sea World. Quite location but close to everything I needed. The place is super nice, cosy, clean with very relaxing vibes. Good Wifi connection and amazing food, breakfast and customer service.

    I booked this hotel for my husband when it was definite that he will not make it in time for his connecting flight out of Shenzhen. Unfortunately the delay of his incoming flight stretched to 9hrs at least so he arrived at the hotel at 6am on checkout day. He said the staff was kind enough to let them know that they can extend their stay beyond the 12noon checkout. Excellent customer service from the hotel's check-in staff for a very weary traveller. Rooms were very spacious and clean.

    This is one of the best hotel I stayed. Door step to Shenzhen bay and multiple parks. Staff are so friendly. Whenever I rang the reception, they say “您好！让您久等了 （Good morning/afternoon/evening Madam! Sorry to keep you waiting)” Simple opening made me feel that they respected my feelings & time. The cleaning staff (黄定玉） was very thorough and effectively cleaned my room everyday.

    Staff of most of the hotels I have stayed in Shenzhen before May 2023 can't speak English and so communication is a big problem. But in Sunshine hotel many staff, be it at reception or restaurant or at room service can speak English. It is a good clean hotel with courteous and helpful staff.

    It is all that we can expect of a modern city. Well designed, clean, efficient and langham staff are extraordinary. Just watch out for the bad potatoes..a dishonest taxi driver that fetched us from shekou ferry terminal.

    Been first time in Shenzhen and not able to speak Chinese...

    Been first time in Shenzhen and not able to speak Chinese was interesting. People were helpful, polite and patient. I was told there were all sorts of hurdles. No internet, needs VPN , no WhatsApp blah blah blah. I bought an esim from Agoda which was cheap as chips which worked brilliantly. WhatsApp worked as normal. I installed Alipay with a credit card that doesn't charge international fees before travelling. Alipay pays for everything. Brilliant. It had Didi for transport. Brillant. I had WeChat installed but not able to read Chinese it was not completely helpful unless I ask the restaurant staff to help. I installed Amap which is to replace Google map and it was very accurate. So an esim from Agoda/Alipay/Amap/WeChat is all you need. Oh Google translation was mighty helpful for menus etc Enjoy.
