Location in the hills/mountains covered by the jungle is simply out of this world. It is also nearby the entrance of Tyrona park. The rooms are very beautiful and well maintained in the beautiful tropical garden. Spa is great and in an amazing spot of the garden. Restaurant is very good with interesting plates and revisited local cuisine.

The garden, the view from the balcony, the clean beach with palm trees. Long walks along the beach. Villas are spacious, modern, decorated to match the surroundings, and have AC along with ceiling fan in every room. Pools are cleaned and filtered every day. Service is good, they have an eye for details, the food is descent and coctails are not bad, try lulodka 😎

The location is great, right at the beach, and mangrove forest right behind the house. There are good food options near by and bar next door. There is no shoes policy which keeps the place clean, but also gives you natural, comfortable and cozy feeling. It is decorated tastefully, with a lot of natural material, beautiful forest view, and sea breeze. Have in mind if you are coming from Europe or elsewhere the 110V plugs, the place has just enough infrastructure to feel comfortable, but be mindful it’s in nature. Setting is beautiful with river and the ocean, and staff was really helpful about where to eat, helping us arrange the transport from the airport, and we were pretty demanding guests. Also there have 3 adorable kitties in the house.

Perfect mix between luxury and nature. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurant food was delicious. It’s not clear on here but they also have access by boat to a really remote beach where they have a bar and you can order food from the restaurant for lunch. Will be coming back!

*My first glamping experience and I loved it. Huge tent with open-air shower and compost toilet *large, shady garden with many trees and bushes *Very attentive staff (you can order by whats app or in person) and great table service (Thanks Katha, Guillermo and team) *I eat mostly plant-based and they prepared an avocado toast for me for breakfast that was not on the menu. Food and snacks were very good *Located 10min on the beach to Costeño Beach Hostel where I hang out a lot to play beach volleyball and eat lunch/dinner *Very private and relaxing experience *Fully sustainable *Amazing white sandy beaches 🏝️ *Nice conversations with staff 🙏🙏🙏 *completely save to walk on the beach at night *SUP and surfing possible at nearby hostels

This hotel is beautiful. Set on a farm in the lush greenery, close to the river. I enjoyed walking to the river to kayak and swim. You can easily get to the beach too. We saw toucans and so many beautiful birds just sitting by the pool. It is relaxing and feels like a luxury home. Loved it!

This place is special! Quiet and chill, beautifully peaceful, exceptionally situated among beaches and majestic views of jungle and mountains, an easy walk along the beach to where the river meets the sea. The staff were amazingly attentive and caring. Kindness through and through. Healthy and delicious food, pools are lovely, ... I felt like I was staying on a grounded gorgeous ship with, the ocean up close and intimate. My room was lovely! The bathroom clean and a nice blend of eco modern. The property is in the middle of nature, beachfront and with a beautiful river. Perfect for someone looking to enjoy nature and disconnect, while enjoying the comfort of a very good hotel: excellent food, excellent service, very clean rooms with AC (hard to find in Tayrona). Beach is amazing, however I would not recommend getting in the water, unless you can handle yourself in the water. my favorite place was the river. There are also lots of things to do in the surroundings: Tayrona National Park, Palomino, Rio Claro, among others.

Marta and the team were super friendly and accommodating. Made us feel very welcome. Super peaceful, right on the beach, and very relaxing to sleep to the sound of ocean waves. Guachaca was a nice tiny village to stay in with proximity to both Buritaca and Costeño beaches and Tayrona park. It's easy to catch the bus to take you along the main road to these other towns and some hikes. You can swim in the Guachaca river and there is a hike up to a waterfall on the river as well, Cascada Saltillo.

In general, the online description of the trail is not accurate. You are crossing a mountain range.... steep ups and downs followed by a steep down to the resort. Trails are not to U.S./Canada standards especially when one adds in the fact that horse/burrow traffic is a necessity for supplies. Hope for no precipitation.

I loved being able to hike on an uncrowded beach as well as on the nearby trails in the woods … overall it was a wonderful place to take a break . Magdalena beach house provided a nice little breakfast and nearby juanchos was one of the few places to go to for lunch or dinner. They were extremely accident and tried to prepare and cook my food in a low cholesterol fashion.

For those wanting to hike the Tayrona trail, this resort is close by the entrance of the park, and it is a blessing to have this place nearby after hours of walking in the heat. Beaches are not as packed as they commonly are in Santa Marta during high seasons. Nice place to relax while being surrounded by beautiful nature. Of course, not everything is perfect, but you wouldn't expect that while visiting Latin America. As it is outside the city, it can be a bit hard to find good restaurants, so you might want to find a hostel with its own restaurant or book one with a kitchen to cook your meals.

Really nice jungle park. Definitely recommend.

Really nice jungle park. Definitely recommend. I liked that there is a bus from the entrance of the park to the trailhead (2 miles - it's 5,000 cop). There are also guys who sell popsicles on the trail to Cabo San Juan and they are delicious. Great views along the way, the hike is really cool but it is a bit of a trek. There are lots of bugs because it is the jungle, so bug spray was essential. But, all in all it's pretty worth it. I also really liked visiting the other side of the park - Playa Cristal was beautiful, but there were no buses. Needed to hire a mototaxi to get there. I hope that will be different in the future! I heard there are buses that go there. Can't wait to go back
